Mcbride is the best teacher.. Being in A beka from kindergarten to 11th grade (Where I am now) I can attest, he is the best teacher in the curriculum.

@obikelaulbai well, in my way, I enrolled same school as the owner of this video. So, I arrange my time to study homework and add some extra reading that I like. Sometimes I'd practice my essay skills or violin. I even cooking when I want to eat something special...(I currently living in oversea, so I can't get most of food that I want to.) You can learn many things from your routine life. I'm still adjusting...because there's no typical homeschooler. Trust yourself and God is important.

Im 14, grade 10. I can't believe you did all that stuff in one semester! I take a full year for all of the abeka courses (except the ones that are marked on the website as one semester)

Im doing World Lit, Algebra 2, Grammar, Vocabulary, and Apologia Chem :) with acting classes, singing lessons, and some dance.

I used to be a Christian that simply never questioned my religious beliefs. I used to say stupid things like "if we came from monkeys then why are there still all these other monkeys". However I finally educated myself about evolution, cosmology, biology, and physics and I found answers to all the questions I had. People just need to stop and truly look for the answers they seek and they will find reasonable explanations.

Totally AWESOME!!! I did that English Lit book too! Although I think I did it in 11th grade... nope, it was 12th! LOL Yeah! and it was totally rocking awesome! OK, especially when you get to Pilgrim's Progress! oh man that book changed my entire view on Bunyan's classic! Anyway, totally awesome you don't have to do science this year! I took Geometry in 11th so I didn't have to take math or science in 12th. lol Abeka rocks btw!

=) Well my mom helps me study for tests and quizzes whenever she can, but since she has a job I pretty much do all the work myself... But she grades everything, I don't lol. =P And my dad doesn't teach me, but he helps out if I'm confused about something.

You learn a ton of stuff in speech class. Communication. Anunciation. How to start interesting conversations with people, instead of something boring. You learn how to act, in a sense. There's just so much going in speech class, it's great. And there's more to come! I can't wait to take a speech class in college! :) (Sorry, it wasn't a great definition. Try Google lol.)
