  • Hey Patricia, just curious, since I've never attempted to do my own weave (though its my week goal to learn how to do it). how did you get the parting of the hair on top to come out so nice. I'm only afraid that it'll just look like a mass of hair w/o a clean part. any tips?

  • héhe_í_fEEl_sÔ_lÓÑÉlý_tOÐãY

  • That was really good. and does it hurt having a weave. cause i really need one.

  • thanks for sharing. i've always been curious as to how u do a weave. now i know. =)

  • not necessarily this type of weave, but how short is too short to use weave? I recently shaved the side of my hair to "hawk" it, and now watching these vids, I'm kicking myself in the rear.

  • Omg. That looks so dope. My sister & I are trying to go natural but we don't

want to go through the ugly stage of when your hair is growing out of a perm ! lol Our last option is a weave & you just helped us immensely

  • great job

  • nice

  • looks so good!

  • how much did the hair cost?

  • That turned out really cute.

  • How did you fill the top in???

  • This is really cute! Try it on a net for a fuller AND flatter look...I've heard about the hair you used and most ppl that get sew-ins in my area live by it! Thanks for the tutorial! Love it!

  • DAT SHID PREETY ASZ HELL

  • did you add hair to braid it in the beginning??

  • I just dont get the benefit of wearing a sew-in weave as opposed to wearing an old fashioned full head wig that you take off in the evening when you get home.

  • they look flatter...thats the main benefit

  • have u considered the quick weave wig. u can braid ur hair underneath and make the weave/wig. it also give a flatter look and can be taken off at night

  • @Amalgamaite and if your in high school like me, it wont get pulled off by bastards.

  • @Amalgamaite A wig wouldn't give you any hair growth. It may even decrease and damage your hair. This is because many may forget to comb their hair frequently when using wigs.

  • hi can you tell me how to get my weaves not to tangle up s i don't have to constantly brush all day? super annoying

  • Conditioner usually helps. I have some called "Coco-Mango 2-in-1 Conditioner and Detangler for Wigs" It smells really good and you can use it on your own hair as well.

What also helps is getting a higher quality hair. I know it bites, but what I do is the back half in good quality human hair and the front in lower quality human or synthetic.

  • for that u need a better weave try remy velvet..but remember a better weave is more expensive...i use it and i love it

  • beautiful accent

  • That look fantastic

  • wow this a cool look. U make me want to make my own wing, u should've used a C needle and before you apply your hair u should used a wing cap. That just a suggestion for the future.

  • Why don't you use a C needle instead of an I one??

  • this is excellent

  • NAIJA!!!! lol well done girl....i will try my own OHH but please dont hurt yourself with that needle... =]

  • love the weave and the accent :) cant wait to do my weave again!!!

  • GurL ThaT is The WRoNG NeEdLE!!! PPL PlZ Dont USe That NEeDle On youR hEaD!!! youLL PokE youR bRaInS oUT...LOL

  • u shud use a curved needle cuz the tip is kinda round so u point poke the shyt out urself.lol. and also it better to grip

  • The fact you have done your hair yourself - and the outcome is so beautiful - wow! Honestly lost for words.

  • WOW!

  • it looks fantastic!!

  • That is so nice! I'm seriously about to go straight to the beauty supply store and get some weave! How do you fill in the visible tracks when you don't have the lace front piece?

  • uh ma'am.... yu aint show us how yu closed da top up. or how yu put da lace on. could yu please do another video wit yu showin dat please. if it possible? thanks

  • We Nigerians are very talented...that weave came out lookin amazing

  • @BluStahh oh shesNigerian??thatswassup!! lol..and yes we are..yu already knnow!!!lol

  • @BluStahh very right!

  • @BluStahh i thot she was african british?

  • @BluStahh yes we are

  • @BluStahh

    butwhynigerians???

Nigeria is'nt the only country in africa-did you know that?

  • @cobainbride I guess cause she (NaturalhairGrwthShow) is Nigerian?

  • @urgunnaluvmeh

lol, that came across bad spirited but it wasn't meant that way.

*curse my lack of 'smiley to punctuate the end of that sentence' *!

    ;)

  • @cobainbride Yes, I am aware that there are over 50 other countries in Africa. Thanks for the education though. And my comment was simply meant to commend her for doing a good job, and at the same time was meant to commend talented Nigerians. I am aware that people from every other country in Africa may be capable of doing what has just been done in this video. There is nothing wrong with appreciating the talents of people from your own country. My comment was not offensive in any way.

  • @BluStahh

    thnx for the response

I appreciate it AND I agree with what you were saying.

my comment was not meant to be mean spirited x

  • @cobainbride you're welcome =] and that's cool, it's all love here! x

  • gosh, your talented, it looks professionally done!

  • o my daysss wooo i love how you show simplicity through doing the weave..... if i ever attempted it would b a painful procedure.......i cant even cainrow.... well done looks fabb and elegant

  • wat type of hair did you use...its really nice

  • So cute! I wanted to see how you finished the crown and made it look flat.

  • This is amazing!! I cant really do my own weaves but the last lasdy who did mine's messed it all up.. It looks all crazy and i hated it i still had to pay her $100 bucks plus buying the hair soo i was really mad but you've got talent:)))

  • your so talented!!!!!

i'm happy for you, you are a positive lady :)

i'm rooting for you,.u will be waistlength soon!!!

  • Looks good girl! I love your accent lol

  • i absoulutely love!very inspiring!im nigerian 2,yey!lol.whats the weave called pls?thanks luv,hope 2 see more vids!

  • it looks BEAUTIFUL!

but how many bags of hair did you use? and wat is the length of the hair you used?

  • i only used 1 bag 1 and a half would be good, and 12 inchs

  • hey girl!

I jumped on your bandwagon of corn rowing my hair underneatth my wig n co/protein wash or deep cond it every week. That is also d only time a comb ever touches my hair. Do you notice any hair growth when you do this?

It seems like my hair is growing bcus every time i blow dry it after washing it (cold air setting) it seems longer. I trim it once a month to get rid of d texturized ends. It just seems like my hair is back to the lenght it was before the trim.

    Am I hallucinating?

  • Im sure yyour not hallucinationg, leaving hair alone and keeping it moisturised is the best way to retain growth!

  • that looks really nice.

  • Cute :)

  • Looked really nice, well done.

  • keep on doing what your doing

  • nice one

  • thats really good, wish i could sew my own weave. i'll just have to stick to my kinky twists for now tho lol

  • it looks great :) maybe one day I'll be brave enough to do it myself lol I dont think Im that talented

  • I think that this is an excellent tutorial video. I think that you did a great job on your own hair. Are you going to try to curl the hair to give you more body and volume?

  • Im not going to curl but I did cut it the finished look is at the very end of the vid

  • please do another vid and show how to put the closer in the front..i cant figure out how to sew the dam thing in!! lol help

  • wow thats so intesting..I didnt know that was how u do it lol..

  • Won't that damage your hair and pull on your edges>?

  • nope not at all, im very careful, and because I do it myself If i feel its getting tight I redo it
