This video brought tears to my eyes. The "before and after" pictures remind me of my own Hava mix, Cassidy. She went from matted mess to happy princess who rules the roost, including my Golden Mix, Sundance. I love their amazing intelligence and bravado.

Havanese is the sweetest dog race.

I've got one multicoloured and her name is Fanny,she is the best thing for my autistic daughter:Fanny play with her and she has a lot of patient....Havaneses are the best,really,and I can't belive someone can damage them in some way.

My poor Havanese Lucy has Heptic microvascular(liver disease) each day spent with her is special, I called the breeder to tell her my girl has a genetic disorder and she stated not from her parents, I am reporting her, unless she spays them, and stops spreading sick puppies! Sadly I will love my girl for what ever may come!

We have a 9 week old Havanese whose head is colored just like the first one in vid.. Difference is ours is mingled white & black (almost silver color) in the body instead of white. Great personality. His name is Yogi. :)

i had one growing up she was abondoned by my grandparents renters before that the people stole her and abused her so after they left her my grandparents gave the dog to my family and lived a happy life .the funny thing is my family didn't find out her breed til after she had died

Great video. I just got a maltese from the town shelter. It had been found on the streets in bad shape ...underweight and a matted coat that had to be clipped off. He is doing great in our house and we adore him. Shelter dogs and rescue dogs deserve a second chance.

Their eyes change. At first their eyes are desolate, hopeless, believing in nothing. After life with love and medical care, their eyes are lighted from within, but you can still see the shadow. They remember, but they also know it's better now...

We rescued our 8 yr. old Havanese Mariah six years ago through Phoexix, AZ., Rescue. We recently had to put her down due to major health issues...on June 30th, 2007. We miss her so...this is a beautiful video. Thank you for all that you do helping the Havanese. "In memory of Mariah, our baby."

That's nice. I looked at Havanese "rescue" for 1 yr and a dog never came up. Where are the rescued havanese in Phoenix?

I eventually had to pay for our Havanese. None exist anywheres in AZ, from my experience.
