@nathan7grind when you get the yoyo you take out the bearing and clean it and then the yoyo will be un-responsive

@AlongTheHorizonLine it is a great yoyo and the video demonstrates that it can handle higher level play right out of the package. which is a feat when it comes to any yoyo available in mass market.

@Skillmanizer you would still have to cut a groove for it to work. the recess is more of a slightly under flush mount. however, just slapping in a silicone sticker would yield a similar response.

Anywho, i wonder if this freehand would be more for beginner play or does it cater more to professional play with good rim weights and long spins like the protostar without having to mod it.
