Nope, some units have this problem, mine had it, until I exchanged it. This problem also affects women with long nails. Please don't throw offensive comments based on subjetive asumptions.
@metalslugmasters As far as I can see on mine (Im using it right now) the button is just another button, Ive heard there is an issue but cant see how unless some units had shorter button components, that dont clear the end of the case, you got me thinking so I tried using the edge of a steel rule, the button is activated before the rule is flush with the case on both sides suggesting it doesnt need to be pushed right into the case to work.
I am a Construction Safety Supervisor and IT manager that lives on his BlackBerry Torch. I am buying the playbook next week when I come back from Labrador as I have to start a New Roofing project at the Airport there. Some of our workers use Otterboxs on our iPhones and swear buy them. We have even had a company truck drive over an iPhone by accident. It still worked... Unreal so an Otterbox Defender would be the only cover for my Playbook. Love thecellularguru on twitter. I am @geektechdeck
ok the harshest thing you could o is fly in a helicopter above a vulcano tie a rope on the playbook with the otterbox case on it and dip the playbook in hot lava then pull it out. and then drop it from the helicopter about a mile from the ground. and i am sure after all that if the playbook still works then you know you have one amazing case.
I go free scaling without ropes in the Himalayas I need one ;)

Man you really solved the problem of the unreachable tiny power button
metalslugmasters 8 months ago
@metalslugmasters You would have to have enormously chubby fingers not to be able to use the power button on the Playbook.
