@vladadragovic Yeah I guess some Coldplay and Train songs are ok, but most are pretty generic and really overplayed but definetly not as bad as Kesha or Katy Perry and Lady Gaga. Most modern mainstream music sucks, pretty rare when I hear something decent or like. The standard for good music has been lowered and nowdays you get nobody who worked for it but became some internet sensation or slut singer who hired someone to make a catchy tune for them.

Well, guess what - (I know I'm gonna sound like this is a crazy conspiracy theory :D ) - the people running the businesses, the ones that are making huge cash off of Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, are basically the ones running the whole show. They are telling us what's popular, etc.

The musicians are just pawns.

Oh, and don't forget - there are BAD musicians that AREN'T popular. :D

@vladadragovic That is what's happening, they try to tell us "Hey listen to this, real talent here, sure he/she didn't write the song, sure they have to use autotune, sure he/she can only play a couple of guitar chords and doesn't know any music theroy or even what a scale is but it's catchy so we will play it on every radio station we can pay the DJs to play it for you" that's what IS happening.

@yoyoguy1st Exactly. And why are you trashing Bieber, Kesha, and Lady Gaga if it's not their fault at all? They were just 'lucky' enough to be the ones chosen. Don't get me wrong - I'm not defending them, I don't like pop music of the 21st century; I'm just saying you're pushing the hate in the wrong direction, as are most Bieber, Gaga, Perry haters. :)

@vladadragovic But Bieber, Gaga and Perry are the ones writing (sometimes) and proforming the music, the record companies are just the marketers, they're messengers not the source, I do understand where you're coming from though. Like I don't like the Script for instance, but I love Boston and Ozzy Ozbourne but they're liscensed to Epic Records so I can't say I hate Epic Records when they produced Boston and Ozzy.
