You played your attack very loosely, vaguely, with no real sense of where it was coming from. Just pushing pixels in the hope that something emerges.

At the same time, you were almost blinded to the force of his mounting attack, even though you knew it was coming.

Me, I liked it. Sometimes you are in a kind of zone when you play competitive games. The experience is not something spectators understand

Well, it was entertaining, I'll grant you.

But a game's being well-played and its being entertaining are quite independent qualifications.

The attack, howbeit entertaining, was not well-played.

Don't be downhearted KC.... you sounded so low at the end :-( Your rather hopeful rook manouvers were a bit crazy I think... but still it's very instructive to see this and have you explain the problems as they develop. I'm glad you post the losses as well as the wins... however bad.... A minor set-back on the road back to 2300+

I think if after Rb2 white takes with king it might be a trap for white because after check with rook then there is Nb3 and will lead to a discover check on the next move. Not sure about it though.
