3do, sega saturn, and playstation all came out around the same year. I got the 3do when it came out, and played it till it died, but playstation won in the long run. Before this generation of consoles arcade games were the only way to experience these kind of graphics and gameplay. RIP arcades. lol.

If you like 3do you should get an emulator from emuparadise..org .. I got one just because roadrash pc doesn't work on win 7 n the psx version fucks up.. but now I'm glad to have a 3do.

And why they do not create more digitalized games like crime patrol and mad dog????????????. They were superb. How do I miss them . I regret that I sold my console to buy a newer one. @bucetapussy ummm it will probably look much better if you connect your pc to a classic CRT TV. or you could find an old 3DO somewhere. Not shure what do you mean by more digitalized games. crime patrol and mad dog are are aleredy digital they can't be more digital, if they could be, they wouldn't be digital, now would they be (010101)? crime patrol and mad dog do exist as a PC version

@Napalmdeath420 ok, thanks, i figured out, that the european version is called "another world", and was made by 2 guys... i really wondered, cuz this is a great game... i also got the 15th anniversary edition for myself, and played it through.. :)

however it's a really hard game (for first playing it) so it took me about 3 hours to make it instead of about 15-20 minutes of gameplay :)

and i think i'll play it today again xD

@ClickClackClickClack you should try the 15th anniversary edition for pc, it came out in 2006 like i remember, and it's got revised graphics, you can load the game from fewer points and it's frame rates are also better :)

just google for "another world 15th anniversary edition" ;)

OMG well i dont know you but I think the 3DO kicks the PSX crappy graphics ass! It definetly was wey too advanced for its time, specially NFS game. The 2D images and vids are probably the best part.

the original Need for speed was great and Crash N Burn was a good one too. Shame they never made another crash and burn though.

it was released during the late 16 bit era, so it was quite an astonishing achievement for it's time. It was sorta like the PS3 of the era, except not nearly as successful.

The Heroes of Might and Magic games were made by the 3DO Company (for a time) but never appeared on the 3DO console. The first game was released in 1995 for DOS and the four sequels were primarily Windows games, though there were a few ports and remakes.

Good video. I'm not so sure about your last three choices, though. Surely games like Killing Time, Shockwave 2, Space Hulk, Star Control II, Star Fighter, Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Theme Park, and Wing Commander III would have been better? If you like FMV shooters so much, why not include the classic (of sorts) Sewer Shark? The worst omission here has to be Road Rash. Not only is it the best game on the system, but it's also the definitive version (much better than the lazy Sat/PSX ports).

Thank you! Theres still hope to humanity. 3DO's Road Rash version really marked my childhood/teenage years. I've bought it for around 700 dollars and I was totally excited about its promosed technical advances. Total Eclipse, Fifa Soccer, Shockwave, Samuray Shodown, Killing Time, Wing Commander, Gex, Mad Dog, Road Rash (I've played this one for MONTHS and MONTHS with some friends of mine), Need For Speed (another AMAZING game... PS's version really lacked) and many others were all great games!:]

It lacked a decent 3D chip and was blew out the water when the PS and Saturn arrived and it was so damn expensive. But saying that i had one and enjoyed it it was just marketed wrong.

eu concordo, comprei o meu 3DO em 1994 FZ-1, e realmente alguns dos jogos que voce mencionou sao os melhores!! faltou vc mencionar Road Rash,Doom,Wolfenstein,Street Figher,Gex mas para ser sincero esse sistema teve mais jogos ruins do que bons!!
