The head design for the euro motor, totally different from the us version, with 286hp in s50b30 form and 321 hp in s50b33 form, was inspired from the heads used in the S70/2 engine from the mclaren f1.

The us version is inspired in a tuned m52 used in europe by acschnitzer, apart from the valve cover thing and the displacement, it is similar to an m50
