But then again, humans are rebellious and want to do their own thing. They don't want to hear God's voice and would prefer to listen to themselves.
The point, or context, is that God has shown Himself to us not only in Jesus but in every perception, sight, perfume, taste, touch, ad infinitum. Perhaps this is called the Theophany of Perfection not only because it is the Perfection itself speaking, but that no other mystical statement, in its fusion of metaphysical discrimination and overpowering sentiment, has gone quite as far as this one.
The context is the context of Ibn Arabi, The Greatest Sufi Master. The Context is "Love". That "Love". The God`s Love. The Context is about God Love and the poem is about God talking with us about some kind or some aspects of God love.
The context is about conection. The context is about love. The context are all arround yourself.
