Jenna said on her blog that this video was done in one take (well on the 37th it stuck). She also said they used real polaroids so my guess is they shot them just before Willie got into the kitchen...

Good song. Jenna is beautiful. But I think I'm missing the full concept and idea behind the video. Sorry for my ignorance. Just trying to understand the full significance of the polaroids. Especially the one with him at the end. Thanks in advance.

Here's how I see it: the Polaroids have captured the history of this romance, from it's happy beginning to it's bitter end. But now we're wondering who is watching as the couple spends their final moments together? And who is the guy who keeps showing us all these photographs? Turns out it's the guy watching himself allowing this relationship end. Is he helpless or is he guilty? We don't know. His own ghost seems angry at the real him if you ask me.

I like Jenna's work, but am not too big of a fan of this song or video. The song isn't horrible, but it seems a bit generic for its genre.(nothing sets it apart) The idea of the video isn't bad, but the visuals are unfocused and not very stimulating. (Perhaps youtube quality constraints is causing this.)

My guess is that they printed digital photographs on glossy paper that had been edited to appear to be in the process of developing. Good idea, but hard to see and extract plot elements from.
