I always get mascara on the skin under my eyebrow throughout the day. I do my makeup and think I look good and then later I look in the mirror and I have black mascara all over the skin under my eyebrow, not a good look. Anything you can do to prevent that?

Another cool thing, is they make Ardell Lash grip in BLACK glue. Makes it soo much easier. I use it everydayy. This video was helpful, cus now im gonna try individuals, I usually use strips. =D!

I have the single synthetic eyelashes. much harder to put on. but with patience I manage to get 3 or 4 in each outer corner of my eye. I can only do it on the days I have the time though, because it does take awhile.

Not the most helpful I have seen - kind of hard to really see exactly where the lashes are being applied due the to h-e-a-v-y eye makeup you're wearing.

And also - you have dandruff. You might want to think about sorting that out.

Love the Andrea individual lashes, however the longest ones are too long i think and i cant apply them with my fingers beacuse i have gel nails (fake nails) so i have to use tweezers. Ardells lashes with real hair are also great, i bought the ones with the half stripes- they go only half of your eye and the really give u a cat eye look and they are soft beacuse of the real hair. Anyways i recommend the Kiss glue, which dries clear quite fast. Kandee u have amazing eyes! ;)

I want to help you out. I am an hair stylist from Detroit. You should use Duralash the clear for Indivisuals. YOu will not have to worry about it taking all day to dry and also it will last for around 2 weeks. Before you need a touch up...

Kandee - I'm a middle aged professor - I care about my appearance. All the work I do to look good... and my eyelashes keep getting shorter the older I get! I do want to look age appropriate and professoinal. Do you know if women my age use these? I wear very little makeup but my lashes are so short that mascara doesn't really help.

wet lashes definitely do not hold up. the glue gets soft and peels off. dry lashes last 1-2 weeks but if you work near water all the time just try to not get your eyes wet alot (submerging under water)

I reuse my lashes all the time, but I do not put mascara on them, and use DUO glue, which is easy to peel off the lashes after.

The DUO glue is flexible so it makes the lashes easy to slowly peel off. Sort of like when you put glue on your hand and then peel it off!

i would have to say that the individuals are more natural looking than a strip. They are easy to put on as well. I apply mine under the lash, this just works better because they don't fall off.

I don't like the Duo or the other, it has the same texture as the hair bonding glue, rubbery when dry, and it smells like eggs! lashes come off easy because it is rubbery. I use the cement (dark) not the white (if use to much, it drys white)! Plus the other stuff irritates my eyes. my way will last about 2 weeks or more, maybe having to fill in a few every now and then. I have lost lashes using both adhesives, so it just depends on what you prefer. Good luck!

The texture of the glue is important. The glue she's using - I believe it's LashGrip Eyelash Adhesive - and a similar glue, Duo's Eyelash Adhesive, are both stretchy after they dry. It's not like the glue cements your fake lashes to your real ones! With this texture of glue, you can just pull off the fake lashes without harming your real ones.

It's good to wear mascara before you put on your falsies. The glue will stick to the mascara, decreasing the chance of harming your real ones.

It is really easy. You just tug lightly on your lashes. The fake ones obviously are not as firmly attached as the real ones and - surprisingly- somes off really easy. I only tried it once myself and was pleasantly surprised! :)
