  • I don't have enough words to thank you and tell you how nice and useful is this video!!

It really shows in a very nice way part of our food, and makes us feel so proud of our heritage, please keep posting this kind of cultural videos of our culture.

Darkzeratulrocky , you haven't tasted even a ten percent of our food, you are the one who has only tasted the same dishes all the time, read more and learn more, if you ever come to Mexico, try typical dishes in all diffferent states you may visit

  • mexican food is as diverse as in china, but this is the thing.........the comercial mexican food is the same but if you come to comexico you can try diferents kinds of cousine like puebla or yucatan or oxaca.....mexican food is a mixture of cousine from asia, europe, middle east (lebanon) and of course america.....

    Mexican food is the best!

  • I'ts fabulous........

  • fenomenal

    tengo hambre

  • you clearly have never been to a good Mexican restaurant or never been to Mexico, our food has more diversity than that of china. It's like saying italian food is just pastas and pizzas.

  • I'm black and my Mexican friends mom be cooking up some authentic Mexican food not like that Tex-Mex shit.

  • wow!! I now consider myself mexican!

  • Ohhh Makes me SOOOOO hungry!.

  • what's better, Mexican food or Italian food?

  • @Lufkin139 they are both of the greatest but i would tell mexican food

  • Very very interesting.

  • viva taco bellllll

  • Mexican food the BEST!

  • gggrrrr!!!...ohh i´m hungry...

  • I'm sorry but I have to disagree, I tried mexican food many times, and I found very food is good, but it not too diverse, that's what's kind boring about it, it's always tortillas, chilies, and beans based, I'm not saying I don't like mexican food, it's really good, but not diverse.

  • You must know all regions of México to taste the diversity and richness of genuine mexican cuisine, my friend: entries, soups, salads, beef, poultry, pork, fish and seafood, sauces, breads, fruits, juices, desserts, pastry... etc. Luck¡

  • Actually it is.however you can't find it all on restaurants. The only place you can find real mexican food is in mexico, and all it's states have different kinds of food, based on what grows in the state.

  • it depends where you eat it, because if you eat it in Mexico, there is a huge variety of food in every region, but if you have mexican food in the US, only some dishes are cook and yes, they mainly use beans, rice and tortillas. You need to go to Mexico, enjoy the food there in different places and then you'll change your mind.

  • Maybe you didn't try all the mexican dishes. Did you try for example "pescado a la veracruzana"? "camarones a la diabla"?. Mexican seafood?

  • haha ignorant, boring is fast food, you should research before doing your stupid comments!!! mexican food is corn, tortilla, bean, chilli, avocado, achiote and many others-based, you have tried it in some U.S. lazy restaurant, what about mexican cheeses, diverse meats and dishes, you are such an idiot!!

  • It depends of the specific place.

Sonora: cow's meat, orange & tortilla de harina

    Oaxaca: mole, fish, nopales

DF: cow's meat & diferent kinds of tortilla of corn

    Guadalajara: Tortas ahogadas

    Monterrey: Cabrito

Have you tried capirotada, coyotas, menudo, pozole?

You may be eating in the wrong places, but, you are right in something: We use a lot the tortillas

  • nope, not true

the popular mexican food in the US is CORNMEAL, bean and chile based, but not most of Mexican consists of that

  • lol..i can agree with you to a point, but i can tell you why, because you only tasted the food from mexican restaraunts in the US huh

always the same, store tortillas, can beans, and orange rice,

you havent lived until you actually get a homemade mexican food.

my family comes from oaxaca, and this is what we have for a party dinner

fresh orange rice, beans from la holla (takes 3-4hrs to make) salsa made with a molkagete, tortillas made from corn (actuall corn!)

    this is living!

  • i'll just flat out say it i dont like mexican food. im from the caribbean so i know good food.

  • yeah because you probably haven't treid the real stuff.

  • Sorry but I disagree, if you think mexican food is only what you have eaten in some restaurants in USA, you´re completely wrong, maybe you have came to Mexico and tasted spme dishes, but in Mexico we have 32 states and every state has more than one typical mexican dish! can you imagine that!?Mexican food is really diverse, I´m a mexican woman living here all my life and I haven´t even tasted all the mexican dishes that exist in México, mexican food also delicious has a huge VARIETY

  • thats because you have only tried the AMERICAN MEXICAN food like Taco Bell, Chillis etc. u should deff come to Jalisco or Mexico City to try the real Mexican food :)

  • I know this is kinda late................to most americans...., yes its always beans, tortillas, rice, chiles............ True mexican food...... is very very diverse.......

...........Have you ever seen.. Rick Bayless cook......?? He's a caucasian man......... BUT knows amazing mexican recipes.... that are not limited to tortillas, beans, rice, or jalapenos........

    Please don't

  • You are kind of right, mexican food is based on corn and chile, but what about japanese? seafood. Italian? Pasta. French? Wine

American? well most of it is made from lipids, lots of lipids xD.

  • Mexican food is not only that what u say,,, Mexican food has many ingridients like chicken, fish, pork, and more. Tortilla is the traditional mexican food, like crepes for french, you really need to try the whole stuff to know about it. el mole and many others salsas make it one of the most delicious food around the world. I invite you to make a search about the mexican food, and try different things, not just tortillas and beans,

  • I want the recipes please...

  • If you think that about mexican food that means you haven't gone to many parts of mexico to taste all the differrent kinds of mexican plates there are :)

  • wow VIVA MEXICO!!! I love the food! Proud of being mexican !

  • I love this video. Makes me hungry. I invite you to watch my video in Spanish of how to make "entomatadas". Similar to enchiladas but instead of red chile, we use tomato sauce and shredded chicken meat. My video is "Comiendo Con Dona Chelo".

  • WOW!! now THAT is mexican food!!!

  • Bravo! Tengo hambre. Gracias.
