  • @ttsandra Just wanted to say, your one of the few "gurus" I still watch on youtube; love your blog too. It's because you're relatable (urgh, I hate that word but am lacking a better one :p), your videos/posts are entertaining and informative, and you don't come across as though make-up is the be-all and end-all of life. As someone else said, you're beautiful inside and out :).

  • @MsRia1989 thank you so much for the kind comment. I am no guru by any means, just a passionate makeup lover and consumer - I love sharing my ideas and finds on here and it means a lot to me that you enjoy my videos and blog! thanks for taking the time to watch and read my rambles :) x

  • you r so cute! I love your videos!! they r so informative! :)

  • @LessIsMoreBySilvia thank you so much for the nice comment, Silvia! :)

  • K... gotta do this video!

    Love your deadly sins! haha

  • YSL lip progducts smell of apricots. My apricot body lotion from Jason smells exactly the same, and also i remember from my childhood garnier or nivea sun lotion smelled like that, so it always reminds me of the beach.

  • I'm taking a philosophy/ethics course called vice and virtues. We're going through the 7 deadly sins and I was happy to find an echo here on my guilty pleasure :p

  • I always look forward to your videos. I have used the Chanel Pro Lumiere for years--I don't know why they feel the need to discontinue an item when I feel the new foundation does not live up to the Pro Lumiere. I have ordered 3 backups from Neimans, but after those are gone I will be on the hunt for a new foundation : ( Love the YSL volupte lipsticks too--so addictive! I just want you to know how much I appreciate all your vids--you have very similar taste to mine so thanks so much!

  • Great tag, Sandra. Loved hearing your thoughts on Chanel Perfection Lumiere. Chanel really screwed the pooch on that one. The LM Rose Rendezvous looks amazing on you. My gawd, your bone structure is stunning. And so are you, inside and out. Thanks for the kind words!

  • I bet you get this a lot, but you look so much like Pippa Middleton! :)

  • i mix my perfection lumiere with revlon photoready. the microshimmer combats the "dead effect" of the chanel.

  • @bucknell21 i tried mixing it with mac strobe cream but then it didn't wear well on my skin at all :(

  • lol this may sound weird but u have perfect cheeks :P

  • Hi Sandra and greetings from Finland! An interesting tag and a great video! I share your "philophy" i.e. I don't hunt for beauty products (or any other products for that matter) either. I definitely believe this makes life a lot easier and stress free :)

  • love that HOH ring! xx

  • For pride, I would have thought you would have picked your eyes. They're gorgeous! You're gorgeous!

  • @lovinlouievuttion that's sweet of you, thank you

  • i got chantecaille just skin in the wrong color! lol so im gonna save to get the right one... and then i got the future skin in the perfect color but it almost has no coverage for me which is not how its supposed to be so sample first would be my recomendation! :)

  • @the4senough with those price tags yes I agree, samples are a must!!

  • Really interesting. I will be looking back fir any contouring videos u have. I have yet to master it and it can make a difference in yur opinion ( which I trust)

  • @willingtootry I don't have a particular method, I just apply bronzer to frame my face

  • your makeup looks absolutely stunning! xox

  • i love your makeup in this video very pretty! I love watching your videos too!

  • @camilanicole177 thank you for watching!

  • I don't know what's new with your makeup or maybe your skincare but i like your skin in the last few videos..you are glowing!!!

  • love the House of Harlow ring!

  • Sorry to be an enabler, but Sandra you have to get the chantecaille just skin tinted moisturizer :p It's pretty decent coverage and its great for combination skin

  • @echolalia85 arrrrrgh I know I know!! i told myself i need to finish up both my Dior and Liz Earle tinted moisturizers before I can purchase that one though!! I can't wait

  • @ttsandra LOL, you should read Vivianna's blog, she did a post on it and she said that she can't quite justify the price tag :/ But each to their own!

  • @controversiaster i have used Chantecaille skincare before and I really loved it so I will probably give it a try anyway, we all have different skin types and not everything works the same on different individuals :)

  • Your lip color is so beautiful, I am so going to have to check that color out. Love this tag thanks for doing it :) ~ Kristinn

  • @dizzyjovi thanks for watching, Kristinn!

  • I've been a long time reader of your blog, and I just randomly found your Youtube channel a week ago. I had no idea you were 15Steps, and it was driving me CRAZY because I knew I recognized you from somewhere! Just figured it out haha :)

  • @CameronArmy yay! well I am glad you found me on here as well! I have a link to my youtube on my blog now but it's not showcased or anything so it can be easily missed :)

  • My MUA never told me that Matte was being discontinued either, but I have heard that various times on here from people in other locations! I hope it is not true--that is my HG foundation, not that it looks unbelievable, but my skin responds well to it. It is the only one I can rely on! I'm so glad you said something about the SMELL of Perfection L!! I thought I was the only one. So much more heavily fragranced. Also broke me out. I miss Pro Lumiere so much. Loved this vid! xoxoxo

  • This is the first video of yours I've watched. I enjoyed it because you seem like an intelligent girl who loves beauty products. There's nothing worse than watching a beauty video where the guru has a vocab of about 5 words, haha.

  • Hey have you tried Anabelle eyeliners? The black one is the DARKEST black, such good pigment!

  • @chelseaa321 yes, I have! their eyeshadows aren't too shabby either

  • Hey Pippa Middleton! you look just like her!

  • Thanks for the shout out, Sandra! I loved watching this video. The Chanel fragrance in their foundation makes me break out, so no Chanel foundation for me in any formulation. :(

  • @MsGoldgirl yeah i really wish they laid low on the amount of perfumes they use in their base makeup!

  • Sandra you look so beautiful, fresh and glowing in this video. Lovely make up in general!! And liked how you are showing your personality more in this video. :)) I am also getting to the 'deadly pale' time of the year and not sure how to fight against it. I dont like using selftanners. Like you, I also always want to feature my cheeks by using conture and blush.

Have a great weekend!! love from Finland.

  • @mi555u tell me about it, today was the first day that i saw the sun in so long!! i think the best way is to embrace the paleness haha I found that I have to use some different products/blushes in order to make it work with the lighter skin tone but it ends up working out in the end :)

  • so cute.

  • So bummed about the Chanel foundation, I was excited to try it. I love how you don't go hunting for products, sometimes I do and it becomes a real pain but I need to be more lax'ed about it. This is such a fun tag. Have a great weekend! :)

  • @PrissyandPink thank you for watching, have a nice weekend too!!

  • ohh your skin looks amazing in this video love!! what foundation are you wearing?

  • @maebelllee all the makeup that i wear in my videos is listed in the info bar below :) i am wearing chanel perfection lumiere... it looks nice after a few hours of wear once the matte look wears off

  • Loved this so much!!

  • I just bought the Chanel foundation and had the same problem. I am trying to counteract the problem by using Laura Mercier primer - radiance. Just adds abit of luminousity. Still very undecided tho...

  • @Chelly1M I know, I tried using MAC strobe cream as a primer before or even mixing it in with the foundation but I'm not so convinced that I love it!

  • Love your take on this Tag, Sandra. You are always lovely to listen to. I have the same Tom Ford lipstick, and even though it's so expensive, I really like it. I wish you to get that Chantecaille tinted moisturizer soon :-) Love, Hana x

  • The lighting and the background in this video are perfect, Sandra! It looks so professional:) Plus, that lipstick is divine on you, such a pretty color! xx

  • Comment removed

  • $50 is your most expensive product?. I was sure that something like Dior Amber Diamond or some of your Chanel foundations would be more. I know I paid more than $50 for Chanel foundations in Canada.

  • @pinkabuki ...and the amount of product you get. That lipstick is tiny so it is most expensive.

  • @pinkabuki i mentioned in the video that i picked whatever was most expensive by weight. yes chanel foundation/powder cost more than $50 but you get more product than you would in a single lipstick :) so technically by weight I consider the tom ford lipstick the biggest splurge!

  • You look absolutely STUNNING in this video! More so than usual. How much was your Perfection Lumiere? Here in the states it's priced at $55. That along with the super matte face it gives me within the 1st hour is what stopped me from buying it.

  • @yoyadf i got it from the states and yes it was $55

  • mat lumiere isnt being discontinued! just the pro. (:

  • @keenalovesyou hmm, I was told by different Chanel employees that Mat will be discontinued too, just not right away like Pro was. good that they won't because Mat was very nice!

  • @ttsandra actually Mat Lumiere has been discontinued already... you can't find it in stores anymore.

  • @ttsandra i worked on a chanel counter as a christmas temp....Mat Lumiere and Pro lumiere are both being discontinued!

  • @theleebear92 that's what i figured! sigh.. I guess it's time to check out some new foundations :)

  • @keenalovesyou @ttsandra Hey, I have recently started working as a Chanel make-up artist at one of the counters in Australia. And to the best of my knowledge Mat lumiere is not being discontinued, however there has been some talk about a change in the formula in the up coming future.

  • What color is your favorite of the Tom Ford lipsticks?

  • @Shumpac Blush Nude (the only one I bought)

  • I do not like some of these questions in these tags lately. I watched a beauty video the other ay and there were three questions that were religious/political which is controversial. Do you believe in god? Do you believe in heaven? Do you believe in hell? Seriously, that has nothing to do with beauty and is not something we should randomly discuss

  • @symmetricalastic I don't think that who created this tag did it intentionally to allude to anything about religion, but you never know. I am not sure how it got started

  • I am glad you recorded and uploaded this. Tags are some of my favorite videos to watch

  • I just uploaded this tag, too! It's a fun one. :) A YSL lip product was my answer for gluttony as well.

Benefit Hervana blush looks so great on you! Another thing on my to-buy list...

  • …awww, I actually like how the chanel foundation smells…I feel like I am the only one who loves the smell….

  • @MRSLroche you know what, I didn't mind it when I smelled it on the tester, but for some reason once I put it on all over my face it gets overwhelming. It's supposed to be the same scent that's in Bronze Universal (and that one I love) so I'm not sure why the Perfection Lumiere scent one irritates me so much

  • that lip color looks divine on you!

  • @lovinlife786 thank you! I busted it out from the archives today haha

  • love love love your videos, and blog!! thanks for making them!!

  • @sambourgeois117 I appreciate you watching them :)
