this is so awesome! Idk if they are Eagles either, but that DEF does look like flames! WOW. I watched it over and over again also and can't tell if it is that or a banner...I am thinking that it looks too sharp to be a banner...the flames look so real.

They look more like ospreys which love to build their nests in communication towers. These guys can get quite territorial when you are trying to work on a cell phone site and have been known to swoop down and bump tower climbers. These don't look like eagles, just common ospreys who don't like the crowds.

Well, the eagles are not that unusual, depending upon where you are. The first time I watched the video, I thought there was a flame there as well, but I've rewatched several times, and believe it is a banner twisting in the wind... the colors are certainly reminiscent of flames though.

i seen the flame too and it is so neat b/c Todd speaks of fire alot. but i cant figure out the eye part i seen on top . kinda creepy . but it has to be the eye of the lord or something cus Todd is a man of God .

Not only does it look like a flame, but if you stop the video just at the right spot, there is a clearly seen Eye in the top of the flame.

amazing huh, I've watched it over and over, what has got me thinking is that the flame appears in good focus, whereas the camera is being moved so fast that everything else is blurred. If it is a banner, then why isn't it seen the same as the rest of the clip - bring it on God!

that's because the camera slows down for a second and turns back the other way right by the flag. it appears to be a banner with individual fringy pieces on one side. there may be other footage somewhere though where you might see it better, but it seems pretty clear to me, there's a well defined edge and i just can't tell if it's fish shaped, flame shaped, or what.
