Is the drain pipe (a black, cheap PVC pipe) durable? Others says that drain pipe is brittle and weak and too dangerous to use...I plan to make spud cannon throughout of it because I have insufficient money to buy ABS PVC. Please reply.
well remember its pvc not steel so the thing you have to worry about is the pressure. the 1st time you fire it, dont put to much fuel in to be on the safe side. Just be safe and make sure you are as careful as possible
a good thing to do is the barrel should be half the size as the combustion chamber. for example a 2 inch barrel(diameter) and then a 4 inch (diamerter) combustion chamber
im not sure i would call it a "super" spud gun... i made one that uses propane and oxygen for fuel and it shoots way faster than that... but still heck its not that big of a deal they are still way fun either way lol

be careful mounting the sparker in the cap, its the most dangerous place you can mount it. it weakens an endcap by about 100psi

hair spray works great, propane is risky but fun. if you use propane make sure your gun can handle it
