good sound capture in this video! I don't enjoy formula D as much as the d1gp. In formula D it seems to be a big V8 in every car-which is quite cool, but you lose the edginess and excitement of a smaller engines with a big turbo being throttled! theres also more variation in the cars competing
some people don't know but formula d and d1 are very different. you can't imagine how different the settings of these cars are.
formula d uses v8 all the way, these engines have alot of torque at low rpm so they do almost no clutch kicking. d1 is total opposite, ''small'' engine (around 3 litres) with big turbines need high rpm so alot of clutch kicking is required. i think they use these engines because they have all the parts for it and the smaller engines keep the balance of the car
Even Kumakubo said he don't like the way D1 is going, he switched car just to be able to stay in the pack but he said that pulling awesome drift out of 1000hp is way easier than with 550-600 (which already is a lot).

Ebisu west looks so dry in the spring. I bet no one recognize that this the course that the ol'Drift Bible was filmed at 10+ years ago.

So, Formula D is heading towards V8 power and D1GP is heading towards the 800HP to 1000HP mark.

@top3ndtxr0 They're already in the 2jz and RB26 in D1.. it's the amount of horsepower that is increasing in D1
