  • @brainway1 Hi Jon! I have the PM20 guitar (not the pro series) and I am thinking of changing the pick ups. the specs are the same (minus the tuners, they are Groover, and the pearl inlays). I am looking for some great all round picks... any suggestions? Sorry for asking...

  • @liogarus

If you like how the guitar sounded in the video, I'd put a Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck and a JB in the bridge position.

  • That room is a leftys heaven...

  • how did u get a lefty version of it? I've searched in the web and I cant find them.

  • @GuitarMadness08

Parker no longer makes this model, but I did just see one on Ebay. Happy Hunting

  • @GuitarMadness08 hey man, there's one on ebay right now for under 400 "buy it now" for about a month left on it.. if ur still into it

  • Iv got one of these, got it today and OMG!! it is the best guitar iv ever played no lies! smooth like butter, id give it to herman lee and he would be impressed

  • Can this guitar handle drop tuning? like Drop C etc..

  • @hide1986

If you're using a .052" for a low string I'd say yes. As on any guitar, you may need to cut the nut opening to accomodate the heavier gauge strings, but yes

  • My god, I cant stop looking at all the LEFT HANDED GUITARS BEHIND HIM!! Its like guitar center but with actual guitars I can play!!!

  • i love this guy! :)

  • too bad Parker stopped the production of the P-series.

  • @homelessathome

Yes. They are a wonderful instruments. Affordable and well made. Perhaps it was competition to Fender's standard line, as Fender owns them now.

  • @brianway1 What amp? Fender Reverb? :p

  • @brianway1 Oh my, tell me that great sound isnt coming from that line6! lol. Sounds really good, and you're reviews are awesome btw. thanks! :)

  • @JgHaverty

Thanks for watching, and yes that was the Line 6 Flextone II XL for this video.

  • Jon, I'm a lefty. If I ever got to be in that guitar room, I'd probably have a heart-attack from sheer joy at all the options.

  • Excellent review. Thanks for posting.Ive just bought the same left hander to add to my collection.looking forward to playing it.

    regards Mike (Museman)

  • @musemancouk

Thanks Mike. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I've enjoyed mine.

  • Very good review. I actually have this exact guitar and I love it. I have guitars which cost me 3 or 4 times as much but this is still one of my favorites. It's the one that sits in the stand (and not in the case under the bed or in the closet) that I grab almost everyday :-)

  • @dcboakville

We agree. What a great find. Anyone who would shy away from this one, because it's made in Indonesia is really missing out on very nice and well made guitar.

    Jon

  • I'm really loving your reviews man. You don't spend time just talking, you're thorough and clear, you go over all the particular details of each guitar, their strong points, decorations, technical differences... I really enjoyed this review, it gives us a very complete idea of this guitar's capabilities!

  • @BoIivarDan

Thanks man. We just wanted to show the guitars the way we would want to see them before we bought one. Thanks again.

    Jon

  • Man I want this guitar and do you improvise on all these reviews Jon or is it material you've written

  • @justllisten

Hope you get one. They are sweet. The licks are just improv, but the progressions are bits of whole tunes I've written.

  • Hi Jon, good job.

I´m thinking about buying a cheap guitar to backup my Gibson SG Special (that i love), i´m just thinking about this one and the Hagstrom Swede (that you also reviewed). Which one do you recommend me? I used to play rock and punk rock.

Sorry about my english, and thank you

  • @pallobomba

Your English is great man. Though the Hagstrom is excellent. You have an SG, so this Parker would give you some more tones to play with. Enjoy.

  • @brianway1

    Thanks man

  • liking your reviews... straightforward and informative, not to mention you review some guitars that are not really well known or mainstream. thanks and keep em coming (btw, what's the song played in the very beginning, ive been wondering...)

  • @bbbtggh

Thanks for the nice comment. You nailed it. We really want to show everyone something other than a Gibson or Fender that is worth checking out. The intro tune is something I wrote. If we can ever get the website up and running I'll probably upload some whole tunes.
