I don't see it...how does this song sound like Even Flow? This is a 14 year old kid singing. And he sounds better to me than Eddie Vedder. Even though I still love Pearl Jam and all grunge bands. I can't believe I went my whole life up until now only knowing ONE Silverchair song ("Tomorrow"). SO GLAD that I looked up that song and other songs by them (all old songs except "Straight Lines"). It was a great day when I found them!

@RobCardIV It's crazy, right? I'm from the USA, and I'm 22, so I was little when they first came out. Maybe that's why I only knew "Tomorrow" up until a few weeks ago. (Also, I wasn't allowed to listen to most music growing up.) I'm addicted to them. They're seriously my favorite band now. I heard "Stoned", ironically right before you mentioned looking it up. And I love it! Blind is great too. I can't even type all my favorite songs by them, because it would be every song they've ever sung lol

The reason their second album Freakshow bombed out in the U S is because they released "abuse me" first there which was too soft a bit gay compareed to Frogstomp for their young audience. In Australia they released freak first and the album did very well. They are still massive in Australia. I like their first 4 albums although not songs like "pink pascal princess" but Young modern is just gay and dissapointing especially since Daniel could write a song like emotion sickness at 19.

@zzsharka Two of my favorite bands are Radiohead and Tool and I like everyone of Silverchair's first four albums. I like songs like Pink Pastel Princess because to me it's great alt rock. I'm also a guitarist and the chord progressions and riffs he write in wacky alternate tunings are really impressive to me.

@zanzibarpat Pearl Jam's new stuff kinda sucks. I havent really been able to listen to most of it. Daniel Johns is a ten times better guitarist and songwriter than Kurt Cobain. Just compare guitar tabs from a Silverchair song and a Nirvana song.

I remember how they refused to do many interviews at first and were very modest despite many said e.g. we don't play that well, our music is simple, we won't let it get get to our head and will give to each other of ot does. Sad how the fame got to Daniel so much.
