I agree with the majority of comments posted regarding the design. I would much rather have the 2003-2008 design than this one. The 2009 design was rushed and is a complete dissapointment. I have several friends who own SL's and everyone of them said that the 2003-2008 design is much better. Well I guess we must wait an additional five more years.
This is my first view of the facelifted SL and initially i am dissapointed that Mercedes have not been able to improve upon the R107 SL in terms of classic looks and appeal. I guess thats why those models hold their price so well,have you noticed how much the R129 has depreciated recently !
