If I saw that take-off in real life, I wouldn't even fly with the airline. No flaps at take off, taking too long to pitch up. Also, were you flying manually in the middle? I don't like this video one bit.
It´s called "reverser". That´s one of the brakes on an airplane and it really doesn´t separate the engine: a part of the cover slides back to let the air be diverted to the front to slow down the aircraft until it reaches a secure speed for the normal brakes to operate.
Yes, yes, I know they have big tails but it doesn't explain why the plane in this video looks like one of those chubby cartoon planes. I've already stated why this happens. 16:9 recorded format being squeezed into 4:3 display. Look at the way the windows are all bunched together and the snub nose, fgs!
I really like the Boeing 737 family. My two favorites aircrafts are the 737-200Adv and the 737-700NG.
Posky model are really good except for the dinamics. I think they are non realistic at all, when you take off / land the aircraft moves to the left-right without strong wing or something, and also, the climb is very unrealistic.
The tail looks disproportionately big compared to the fuselage in this video. It's what happens when you squeeze a widescreen video into a 4:3 player window. You tube doesn't support widescreen unless it's displayed in letterbox format. But it wont always do that.
The tail is proportional. The 737-600 evolved out of the 737-500. The 500 traded size and capacity for range. The 737-600 was designed to take the place of the 737-500, molotover good comparison of the SP.
Nope. It's a -600. You can tell by the wings and the tail as well as the fact that it's a Project Opensky Model, and they've only made the 600/700/800/900.

Hey, he is taking off without flaps...??

Think it's Flaps 5. Standard for 737NGs as far as I know. You could tell by the wing slats are extended.

Iransim, the tail looks big cause thats how it is in real life. The 737-600 has a very small fuselage with tall tail.

boeing made the tail too big lol

The tail is proportional to the performance of the aircaft and it size. If not see the 747 normal tail and one of a 747SP.
