  • my grandma's reaction was pretty the same, she didn't walk away though. :P

  • & here I thought we were living in the 21st century where narrow-minded and judgmental people were few and far between. Thank you, YouTube for helping me to see the bitter world we still live in. Haters: How about you grow up and learn to live with people who have chosen to creatively and artistically express themselves, be it tattoos, piercings, sculptures, paintings, etc. In the end, we're all just trying to be our selves. I got my ink for myself and myself only. Don't like it? Don't do it.

  • hey look up branding n thn tll me wht u thnk about tattoos aftr...nt so bad

  • I wish people would stop being so narrow minded about tattoos. Just because they are permanent doesn't neccessarily mean they are trashy or a bad idea. I have a tattoo and I didn't get it to stand out or add to my character. I got it as a tribute to my mom who lost a 6 year long battle to breast cancer. It's a tattoo for her and it helps me feel like she's still with me. I didn't make a stupid decision in inking myself, I have no regrets.

  • If you see a book with a blank cover the person picking up the book has no preconceived notions about whats in the book. But if the books author put a picture of a demon on the cover of it the person would say "Hey this is a book about demons" Thats how tattoos work. It gives people a preconceived notion of you before you even open your mouth. But you can't be angry or call the person names because of their thoughts on what they see in front of them. They didnt illustrate the cover.

  • @skreetvids Sure, that makes sense, but if someone is so focused on my body art that they don't bother to take the time to get to know me, they aren't the kind of people I want to fill my life with. I get that there are people that do judge based on what a person looks like, and if I were handicapped, or born with one eye...that kind of behavior would not be acceptable. Just because I have a little hummingbird on my arm, people could fail to see that I'm a really kind person. Their loss!

  • @plurpixie: amen to this! you're totally right!

  • People don't choose to be handicapped or born with one eye (dur). You CHOSE to mutilate your skin, presumably for egotistical reasons - as the closest thing you have in common with a humming bird is your brain size.

Presenting your grandmother as a narrow-minded old fool for not liking tattoos is a strange example of a "really kind person". Had she begged you not to get a tattoo would you have refrained from doing it?......I guess not.

  • @BigEricHunt Lets talk about mutilation then. Males aren't born CIRCUMCISED, am I right? Yet loads of people do it for religious reasons. I don't know many adults that do what their grandparents tell them to. If my grandmother would have given me a reason NOT to get it done, and I thought it was reasonable, then I would have used my own judgements(like I did). My grandmother is not a fool, she's just set in her ways. You are the one that assumed that, not me.

  • @plurpixie As a black person, i have to say this: don't you think that dreadlocks are ugly and tell a lot about the character of the people who have them? It is no different than the people who have tattoos. I see all of them as trashes and they disgust me. I hate dreads, tattoos, gay people ... just to cite a few. This world is so corrupt and has to many degenerates=> whites and blacks (or any other races for that matter) alike.

  • @Bellcart I think your entire statement is why the world needs a reset button, it is the epitome of disgusting. Not race, style, or sexual preference..but ignorance.

  • @plurpixie blah blah blah you are just a freaking liberal. You do the first thing that comes to mind just to satisfy your fleshly desires.

  • @Bellcart This couldn't be further from the truth. The best thing about knowing God, is that I know he doesn't judge me based on how I look. God knows me, my heart, my mind, and my most secret desires! He knows my reasons, and he doesn't look at my tattoo and assume the worst because of the way I look. If you look through at all these comments, you wonder HOW on earth Christians are pushing people away from God...well just look. Its evident right here. Judge not.

  • Ur gma looks so sweet

  • I LOVE GRANDMAS

  • BAD CARLYY!!!! :L :L

  • my grandma cried when i got my 1st. the 2nd one she just asked what the fuck was on me. and now she just knows the are coming

  • Because plurpixie she knows that injecting ink under your skin is a stupid decision and has never added anything to anyones character or credibility. You see when you born you are perfect. A miracle of your two parents coming together and creating you. When you go to some tattoo artist that has examples of his/her "work" on the wall covered in plastic or in a $1.99 black binder you become just that. Another receipt in their book. Nothing more.

  • @killersushi99

Its funny that you mention my parents here, I'm quite certain I was nothing more than a coincidental accident. =P. My hummingbird is a beautiful, it doesn't reflect the artist at all. Its a reflection of my inner soul. A tattoo might be a generic form of representing our characters, but the joy of freedom is the right to choose how each of us get to represent ourselves. (oh by the way my street cred DID totally go up after getting my tattoo) /flex

  • @killersushi99 that probably the most fucked up comment ive ever heard. I agree with you on people that get a tattoo just for the heck of it. But you have no fucking clue what your talking about. I have Full sleeves. For someone as dumb as you. It means that my arms are completely covered with ink. They represents me, and my family. I have my 2 daughters names and birth dates on my left arm. Same as my parents but with out birth date. Designs to represents all of them.

  • @killersushi99 Then on my other arm i have tats that represents people that were close to me that have died in afghanistan. I have 4 designs for them. Then i have a script which im not going to tell you as it is very personal. So probably think im imperfect to show off who i truly am. Well then me and all of the others with ink say "FUCK YOU"

  • @music1sawesome35 FUCK YOU. Yep exactly what I would expect from you. Thanks.

  • @killersushi99 wow lol you are clueless. Figures. Your just like the rest of the fucking world always labeling people

  • @music1sawesome35 Clueless? I didnt label you. You labeled yourself with a needle.

  • @killersushi99 getting a tattoo isnt labeling yourself you are just expressing yourself.

  • @music1sawesome35 Im expressing myself right now. It seems that I can't express myself without being told FUCK YOU. Interesting.

  • @killersushi99 lol a few comments ago you stated that people with tattoos are imperfect

  • @music1sawesome35 No. I stated that when you are born you are perfect. You made your own conclusion that people with tattoos therfore must be imperfect.

  • @killersushi99 and yet loads of people alter themselves in many ways depending on the culture. People circumcise their male borns, they pierce their daughters ears, LOTS of people do things to alter their bodies, some for religious reasons, and some for personal. If you think tattoos are disgusting, you are very entitled to that thought, but I have a right to be offended when people judge me because I look one way or another.

  • @killersushi99 and what makes you say that sir?

  • Wat is it a tatoo of

  • Its a hummingbird. lol
