no its matching the efficiency we have today. But thats VERY ineffecient at only 260 watts.. thats a 60 watt light bulb running 4.3 hours... very lame considering Einstein calculated 30 kilograms of water contained the energy of 10 million gallons of gasoline..
@Me102288 Potentially we could get that, but imagine going camping and powering up a light for 4 hours with just random water you find around you...or pee, that's mostly water, right? No more running out of batteries, needing to recharge your phone in the middle of nowhere but not having a plug, etc. It's still freaking awesome.
@iSOBigD no more running batterys? where are you going to get the power from? Electrolysis use's electricty to split water, granted you'd need 1/1000th of the energy it takes to refine gasoline from oil (6000watts)
@chevydeo yeah,my mistype, was 30 grams... and he was looking at it like the most effecienct, not what they had then, so Id figure its only about a gram, considering its a 100$ recycleable molecule.. burn hydrogen, it comes back hydrogen., soon as it contacts air (oxygen) is turn BACK to water.. technically you cant destroy it,, so it must be infinite
Yes people lets pay more for power, not less. JC what a fkn gimmick. So what electrolyte will you add to charge 20 bucks for refill, oh and how much is the electrolyte I were to buy it retail? Less than 20 bucks? JC WTF. What couldn't hack it as a politician or a lawyer or a realtor or insurance agent or pharmafuck or hypocritical Dr. Let me guess, your motto is who can I F@uck today!
@nannerin thats funny dude, you dont even know it takes 6000 watts ti refine a barrel of gasoline from oil? how about the 260 watts it takes to make a litre of Hydrogen? 4 litres = 920 watts.. wow thats WAAAY under...
It's a great concept to make this company money...poor solution for a replacement fuel source. What do they do with the spent cartridges? Probably throw them in the dump, causing more waste and pollution.
its a start, but they need to develop a way that you can simply refill the cartridge with more water after its done. paying 20 dollars for a constant refill if you are using this power source can get expensive. it seems right now the best way to use something like this would be for emergency purposes. if your house lost power, etc, not everyday consumption.
i can buy a car battery for forty charge it use it for years and i dont have to buy all those cartrages that cost 20 dollars. guess that why he is still working and im retired.

@dgessence 316L stainless aint free bud, and its the only thing the is resistent enough to use in electrolysis..
If your curious why lookup grain boudary carbide precipitation. the electrolysis units arent free,,, the infoormation on how to build one is,,,
No you dont have to buy one from some fraud.. because THEY are a scammer, not the technology... remember that// PPL are scammers..
NOT 300+ year old technology
