a pod is a copepod...they are marine bugs, and the copepods eat leftover debris...they are like the scavengers of the reef...and a good food source for a lot of creatures like the mandarin goby
Very nice fish its really a beauty. The florescent light seem to really bring out the colors in it. What lightning system do you have? Also, I was looking into getting a biocube soon myself. Would you mind telling me a little about the corals?. Do they have to be situated like in or on live rock? Or can they just be kinda sent in sand? OR either? Lemme know thanks. And again, really spectacular fish.
Yep, a 29g biocube. I dont feed her, I let her catch her on food. the tank is full of pods, and I have a refugium which is also full of chaeto and pods, and I occasionally buy a bottle of pods to add to the refugium...so the goby is fat and happy.
The pink zoas....Im not really too sure of their technical name, but most zoas are referred to by their colors anyways.
VERY healthy mandarin!

i see the curved edges of the tank, is she in a biocube? How do you plan on feeding her?
Oh, and I have the same pink zoas in 2:06, do you have an ID for them?

@sh8wn9 Where do you get pods? Have you tried to feed it/him/her frozen food?
