i often asked myself: "why the heck are megadeth's riffs and melodies so simple and the solos so epic???" well, considering that good ol' davey is the composer and lyricist, he makes the solos and the riffs...this kinda turned my vision around on megadeth. nice work so far...if they only were to live forever :|

Well, I agree that Megadeth's solos are so epic.

BUT I Dont agree with you, that ALL the riffs of megadeth are simple as you say.

If you check well there are songs that are very hard to play and very technical, like Rust In Peace... Polaris or Kick The Chair.

Also, Dave Mustaine is not the composer of the solos, well just a few of them like the one in Holy Wars.

Just telling you my knowledge though ^^

@dylanmart93 well, i wasn't saying they were simple as in "even my 5-years-old bro could play them"...i was referring to the music itself...i mean all songs have riffs developed over, say 3 or 4 chords, for the verse sections (eg. 44 Minutes)...to be honest, i didn't really listen megadeth's whole discography...just the album endgame, and the songs 'never walk alone' and 'back in the day' which, btw, was the very first song i've heard, in a 'duck dodgers' episode xD
