I was left intact because my European-born father was totally against it and it was not part of our German/Spanish culture. I'm just saddened that so many other Americans were not as fortunate. In Europe (including the UK), infant circumcision is NOT the norm; it is actually uncommon. Boys are happier left genitally whole, as Nature intended. Women are much more prone to genital infections (e.g. thrush) than men, but they don't choose unnatural surgical intervention. Men don't need it either!

The long-time circumcision-justifying researchers trying to promote this cultural practice as medicine never factor in a great enough value to just having and keeping and enjoying a whole, intact body. By their logic, reducing hangnails would be justification for chopping off fingers and fewer cavities would be reason enough to pull healthy teeth.

I heard that the reason why people circumcise baby boys, is to stop them from masturbating in the future.
