  • How many hours of practice goes in to reaching this level of skill? I'm 21 and have absolutely no experience with piano or any other instrument, but I have long thought about learning how to play, especially some rock piano or boogie rock n roll etc.

  • @lemmedasker It all depends on yourself, I personally think that you can reach this skills after just 2-3 years, if you're serious about what you do. This playing was a long time ago (2007), meanwhile I play really different. Just try it, take some lessons, remember, the beginning is the toughest part for everything!

  • your intro seem like one of the grade 8 piece intro...>. <

    just a few lar....XD

  • @pianoboy920516 Sorry, I don't understand what you mean?

  • i didnt think you over used the pedal. it is amazing!

  • Enjoying this kind of music on a sunny Day in Bridel with a cup of coffee makes life livable. :)

  • @therockingape Thanks buddy ;)

  • I'ts simply AMAZING !

  • I don't know what everybody is talking about telling you to stop using the pedal, but some of the best blues guitarist play using legato techniques. B.B. King wouldn't like people dishing on legato.

  • @TheZombieJC Putting me and BB in the same comment is already a honor for me.

Thanks for your comment, TheZombieJC. Hope you had the chance to see BB live, too!

  • @TheZombieJC In this context pedal not a great idea. Boogie style should be mostly percussive. Some nice feel though.

  • so friggin' cooooool!!!

  • Yeah, maybe a little to much peddle, but you were still really good, so I am not sure what the big deal is.

  • gostey!!!

  • @diego86551 I don't understand.

  • Deck gud!mach weider sou :D

  • @Jeneliii hah wie gutt, e comment vun engem Letzebuerger ;)

  • me likey

  • Eu amooo tocar piano!! Woderful^^

  • he loves to play the piano ^

  • woderful amazing =D

  • Nice Job, ...

but please use less pedal, get a felling in rhythm, tune your piano, and learn better scales than just the simple blues scale in C.

    But well done...

  • Hey JazzPati, thanks for your comment. This vid is already old (2007) and i improved a lot since then. As said above, the pedal thing was a major mistake I made, but i don't do it nomore. I chose the C scale because it was the first vid and at that time it felt easier for the left hand to play the bass in C scale!

  • dear den : notes are there, just need to work on the timing IMHO : keep it up and keep rockin'

  • Fear of sounding like an idiot, is that a kemble piano?

  • thats a niiice piano. i'm jelous.

  • too much pedal!! learn to play legato!!!

  • yes you're right, but it's the room too. too much hall. I changed my style now.

  • @robertbowen Legato suck :P... Legato is for organ :PPP You can't play blues with legatto

  • ssSwish!

  • OHHHH MAN!!!!!!! YOU CAN MAKE A LOT OF NOISE FROM THIS PIANO!!! MY GOD YOU'RE A BEAST!!!

    I'm joke

    te felicito

  • good very good but that isn't piano chair

  • you're right, but the real piano chairs are too expensive ;)

  • That was awesome man, i am very impressed

  • du benutzt ein bisschen zu viel das pedal...aber ansonsten große klasse...

  • Ja, aber ich hatte so ne Zeit wo ich das Pedal einfach festhielt :) habs mir mittlerweile abgewöhnt! danke!

  • Awesome!

  • no pedal!!!!!

  • ihihih no pedallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!!!!!!

  • It's being played in C, but it's a C blues scale. C Eb F F# G Bb C

  • You can also use the pentatonic scale:

C,D,E,G,A,C AND use an Eb as your blues note;)

  • But I forgot to say, Nices job;)!

    Very steady left hand :O!

  • it's in the key of C indeed

  • 'That can't be in the key of C. To me it looks like the key of B, i may be wrong, but thats definetly not the key of C, cause your using E flat, F sharp, and B flat constantly.'

    lol noob

  • C E flat F F sharp G B flat is a C blues

  • too true too true, i prefer blues in G for playing piano personally :)

  • Thx for your opinion, i've noticed shorty after uploading the video. It's the fact that you're not really listening what you're playing, just having fun. This video is 'old', now i play the same version but 'better' if I could say it like that. What is your real language than?

  • I can get the notes just by ear

  • Yeah, i know. That was my brother typing on my account. Don't pay attention to my comments previoiusly

  • That can't be in the key of C. To me it looks like the key of B, i may be wrong, but thats definetly not the key of C, cause your using E flat, F sharp, and B flat constantly.

  • I'm sorry wardwentt, but it's in C. Maybe as i said my piano is out of tune, but i played it in C, i'm sure about that...

  • i dunno if it is beign played in c but it looks like the jazz scale. cuz u use a universal base line thats used in jazz. and Bb, F# and Eb are the only black keys used for jazz. keys for jazz scale are: C, Eb, F, F#, G, and Bb. looks like jazz scale would b what im gettign at

  • your great good job :D

    5/5!

  • what key is that in?

    nice job man

  • It's in C. thanks! (the piano may sound out of tune)

  • Wow! your made this? It can't be! :) GREAT JOB!

  • Just one word - WOW!!

    Favorited!

  • hey, i do blues too. great work. was you improvising??

  • I'm envious! You have crafted a rockabilly blues masterpiece played to perfection!

  • I love it. I'm learning blues piano now and this is inspiration to the max. Great job and keep them coming.

  • Yeah ! this riff makes me dance !

  • Everything is amazing except for the morbid amount of Sustain. The piano sounds amazing and I mean AMAZING but it sounds like you are using just a tad bit too much sustain. Sometimes I couldn't really hear because all the notes were running together but you know who the hell cares just play it the way it was meant to be played. YOU ARE AMAZING!

  • 'but you know who the hell cares'

Thanks Johnnycoolguy9554, in fact, a lot of people care, so i'm happy to read comments like that, it's a cool way to improve!

  • Mr. danishpride1....you are gay

  • ;;;snaps fingers, claps hand;;;play it man.

  • COOL! i wish i could play like that! but i think my senior would say something like it lacks direction.. like it doesnt have a proper climax or something. BUT I LOVE IT ANYWAY. =D
