Technical people aren't meant to be polished and sound great. He's obviously a technical person. The good news is it's a perfect alternative to paypal (which freezes and sometimes steals your money for no reason...research the ebay and paypal ripoffs now you'll see there's a huge void needing to be filled by Google!

Google's Benjamin Ling doesn't seem up to the task here. He seems unsure of what he is saying and appears utterly unable to convey a lot of information in an articulate and highly professional manner. This whole video plays like a student reading note cards for a class presentation. It's a bit shocking (or maybe not) that Google has someone like this representing its Checkout product.

I'd have to agree with zatomzz. It should come as no surprise that Google rarely unleashes him to the public, since journalists could easily rip him apart. Facebook quickly discovered this, and now that he's baaaack at Google/YouTube, they're encouraging him to keep a low profile again.
