  • I'm sure you've all seen me on Minesweeper Channel 31, where my sweeper replays are syndicated. Yes, I am that good. I'd just like to take some time out of my busy day playing the same game over and over to criticize some talented developers who have developed a fun and challenging Minesweeper clone for casual gamers, to insist they add features that the vast majority of users will never find useful.

On a more serious note, beautiful game, stunning graphics. Signing into iTunes to purchase now.

  • I've been one of the biggest minesweeper fans since the game first landed on Windows. Most hardcore $weepers will know who I am, I've been a regular on the all time high scores for over 10 years, so I think it's safe to say that my decade + experience in this game makes me slightly more of an expert voice than the people above who haven't even taken the time to comment on the cutting edge graphics, innovative audio, and out of this world achievements

However, a few small suggestions, if I may

  • 1) the icon does not stand out , in my opinion, I think the older one with the alien head was more in tune with the mindset of a hardcore $weeper.

  • 2) I really would like to be able to export my saved games to MIDI and resequence them into DivX movies for playing on my home recorder. In my opinion this feature is a must.

  • 3) 59p is still a bit steep, after all there are loads of free $weeper games out there on Windows - you've seen me beat all of these. I'm still stuck on the last level on Mines in Space, but having to pay 59p for it was distracting. Maybe offer a discount to regular $weepers or include us in beta testing?

  • 4) I really think it should have been called iMinesinspace

  • 5) How about an improved iCopter game featuring better graphics, and a submerged watery section where you dive in and turn into a submarine with slightly heavier "inertia", I know that's a bit hardcore but you should be able to work it out.

  • 6) Who is that guy talking on the video? He has a beautiful voice, criminally underused, we need more voice comments on these games, how about if you successfully flag a "6" mine, the voice actor would say "hey, cool". or something like that, just to give you a bit of encouragement LOL

  • 7) Did you use a middleware style rendering engine that is cross platform. if so, would like to see this on PS3, though for a bit less than 59p obviously, maybe an XBLA freebie?

  • 8) Will this run on a Honeywell Level-64 mainframe, seriously, it's easy to forget not everyone has these new fangled platforms and technologies. I work for a major insurance company in Leeds, and in our server room across from the disk platter storage, we have a green console screen that's just crying out for Mines in Space

  • 9) respect to the developers, if you take on board my suggestions, I think you could have a chance to crack the iTunes store feature page,.

  • Ace app! Can't stop playing it.

  • Slick app, an apple inspired twist on a classic!!!

  • Smart, sexy, inventive and playable. Well, that's 3nough about me...

Get Mines In Space, it's out of this world. Lol ;) x

  • Bought this when it came out last week. Still playing it now!
