I heard this live the morning they did it and it completely blew me away. I wasn't much of a CC fan but this performance - he was so raw and cut wide open you couldn't help but just be caught in that moment with him. Amazing.

The only term for it that I can find is the true meaning of the term 'performer'. Such musical storytelling remains too scarce in music, especially in an age where we are surrounded by synthetically produced, factory-line monotony that characterises the modern music industry.

He did this at Pinkpop 08 also. I like that one a bit more, its not acoustic, but this one still rocks. It sounds like he added in bits and pieces of other songs to go with it. Absolutely great.
