Actually this is Arnica cordifolia not Arnica montana we are looking at. Stands spread by rhizomes and new colonies are started by seed dispersal.

I'm sitting here with a sprained ankle while watching this video, wishing I had some arnica growing in my yard!

I used an Arnica Montana ointment on a scar I got on my face after being in a car accident. I think it helped a lot to reduce the scarring. :) Love this plant.
