It did indeed. They closed the roads and we ended up at a Best Western in Baltimore which is what you see at the end of the video. So bad there were no staff at the hotel to cook meals etc.!
It took 7 years for another huge storm to hit us like this! I remember 7 years before this storm was the blizzard of 1996 and it's amazing after many years from then, another big storm like this hits us in 2003
Oh! I remember those days!! and especially this "SnowStorm" I'll never forget it! We had 2 feet in Newark NJ. School closed for almost a week, and it was one of the biggest snow storms In Many years!
Oh yea! Even though Pittsburgh is still pretty far from the East Coast we still got a good 15 inches back here, though nothing will compare to 93 when we got 26" in a storm.
That storm was awesome!!! I was 12 and in the 6th grade when it happened and it was the best every. It was funny though because on Friday they only said like 2-4" but 24 hrs later they said a foot in Pgh.
I thought it was going to be some boring old post, but it really compensated for my time.
