  • Wow! she the best thing ever to happen to Christmas, I look foward to seeing her perform every year. Thank you David Lettermen and Paul who does just an outstanding job.

  • a big band, full string section, eight back up singers, baritone sax and a singer who can belt it out. can't get better

  • Who's the woman playing the keys with Paul?

  • an ultimate rock song of all time...say no more

  • Just Fantastic.

  • If Darlene was 25 - I would be floored... The fact she is 73 is - well - UNBELIEVABLE. It honestly wouldn't be a Christmas without watching her Letterman performance (and I saw this as a Brit, who doesn't even get to watch Letterman normally unless I seek him out on YouTube!) but her Christmas performance is legendary and I hope she keeps doing it for another 20+ years! JUST MAGICAL!

  • perhaps the best kept secret in all of show business - the annual Darlene Love "Christmas, Baby Please Come Home" performance on Letterman. This is must see TV.

  • This song still brings a little tear of joy to my eyes.

  • LOVE LOVE LOVE HER!!! this is so wonderful!!

  • Luv Darlene Love and her rendition of Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)!!!!!

  • She, and her magnificent voice, are reverse aging.

  • Lessons in singing and class given here by the incomparable Miss Love.....

  • I never realized Darlene was so short......shes short and cute!

  • LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!! Belated congratulation to Ms. Love on being inducted into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. She looks and sounds absolutely wonderful. I live for this performance on David Letterman every year!!!!! She is just like fine wine - get's better with time!

  • The best thing about the Late show for sure!

  • And she's 70! She looks and sounds decades younger.

  • Chills...

  • Edna Wright(Darlene's sis) doing backing vocals

  • Love Love Love Darlene Love

  • Ms. Love has been truly bless to song as she does. Ms. Love has made millions of people inspired by this song. A song that will lift your spirits. Just Love It. God Bless Her.

  • Love Love Love.

  • Unbelievably moving.

  • Who is the blonde girl on keyboards ?

  • @star69angle That's Darlene's sis Edna Wright from the group The Honeycomb

  • On this side of Eternity, we have Darlene Love.

On the Other Side, in the Presence of God, I Can't Wait!

    Stephen.

  • She just gets better and better.

  • drop the commercials!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • God save Phil Spector.

  • ... and I believe the blonde singer behind her is her sister Edna Wright, lead singer for the 1970s group The Honeycone and also a Phil Spector session singer; she does the lead with Darlene on Wait 'til My Bobby gets Home ; )

  • @JimmyBoi2 Yeah that's Edna

  • The Voice of Christmas !!!

  • Love Letterman Darlene

  • Yep, she's still got it!

  • Damn I almost lose it when she sings. She sounds better than ever. Love the 60s flavor. And she's still hot!

  • The best one yet! It wouldn't be Christmas without Darlene Love singing this Phil Spector classic on Letterman.

  • 73 years old. Unbelievable.

  • Fantastic

  • Phenomenal!

Thank you Darlene Love and Thank you Paul Shaffer!

  • Now, if Darlene was judging x-factor or Idol... I would watch! I would know she would know what the hell she was talking about! this is a real singer right here ya'll!!!
