i just left my bags at the international terminal with continental skipping the long ass line at the check in counter at my domestic gate. they do the rest for you. all u have to worry about is finding your getting to your gate. this was like 6 years ago though, so i don't know if they changed it.

my team in football always takes PAL from shanghai to MAnila vice versa and everytime, we enjoy our flight. We even one time treated with San Miguel Beer when we got off the plane.Best service so far.

Philippine Airlines is already out from the gov't's receivership. Now, it is again privately owned and making its further expansion to asia and a groundbreaking comeback to europe. 5 years less from now, philippine airlines will be rated 5 star and soon a member of an airline alliance.

PAL's international fleets (B747's, A340's) are being refitted with the lcd's in back of the seats for economy (Fiesta Class) and new seats...please do your research before babbling negative nonsense. Brand new B777 are scheduled to be added to the fleet this year.....GO PHILIPPINE AIRLINES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If im not mistaken, my flight was like 14 hrs long. Cant remember. The movie that was aired during my flight was kinda boring. But had fun though. Specially wen the plane's goin to land @ SFO. Can't wait to feel the coldness of the air XD

karedward, its really wierd cause Philippine Airlines never said any Tagalog words besides Mabuhay, which is really irritating cause they keep repeating it. And their safety demonstration video, its in English and the subtitles are in Chinese?! I mean what the hell. But still their employees are really friendly people :D

PAL should make more routes and their quality and service and comfort more. It should be known in the world like singapore airlines. They should improved the uniforms, layouts and many more. They should have new LIVERIES and NEW CLASSES and NEW AIRCRAFTS and LAYOUTS.

PAL should start over again.

Before they were flying to Dubai but now only CODESHARE ROUTES

PAL is only good for Domestic flights and anyways they only got 3stars from skytrax.

So majority of their aircraft doesn't have the new BUsiness Macro Class of PAL

i agree. especially in economy class. pal hav only started installing personal screens in economy class which they should of done years ago. and they dont even have first class!

half of ther planes are dirty and look in bad shape and domstic flights are expensive.

but i do like PAL but i wish they wer a better airline like Singapore Airlinea.

First Class & Mabuhay Class sections of PAL I have tried are both good..but if you like to save the coach are not bad either which I have tried too.The difference are the food and service.If you can afford the price difference why not try the First class 16 hours fly in comfort.
