Hi...The lyrics...is it about the store 7-11 or is it about girlfriend (i'am not your 7-11 girlfriend)...just want to know before i show the song to my Thailady.....I do not her to topza lopza lai mee...*S*
@flashwebb She is singing about her boyfriend who "uses her as his 7-11", calls when he wants to call, stops by to see her when he feels like it and so she is tired of this and doesn't want to be his 7-11 any more.
Sorry but I dont like your videos. You dont hesitate to openly record strangers and women in the streets. its plain voyeurism and i can tell how uncomfortable and irritated some people in ur vid feel. Its just rude to film them like that and Thai people and asian in common are usualy to polite to say so. Westerners dont understand, they see asians smiling and think its ok, when its not.
@chanheurng Yes, she is in another one with a lady who I think is her mom. Also I believe she appears briefly in a third video. She is a fruit vendor who works the area around Sukhumvit Soi 23.
The title of the vid reminds me of how many 7-11's there are, not just in BKK, but all over the country. It's almost like you can't turn a corner without running into one.
@TheScumbag57 That's correct. Many of the clips for this video were taken nearby. The 7-11 in the opening clips is the one on Soi 23 not far from the Old Dutch.
do u live in bangkok? i am american and fell in love with a girl from thailand.i wonder how my life will be since i dont speak thai at all and plan to move there
How life will be for you? Don't know.. If you haven't lived in Asia, it will take some time getting used to. I can tell you personally, I would love to live in Bangkok someday.I lived there for one year in 1995, loved it. Things have changed but I still think it's nice place.... food, culture, people, general vibe in city, colors, smell.. I miss it.
If you have any specific questions, you can send me a note.
great video and song, wish I could understand the lyrics, you take better videos than me of Bangkok so will send this to my family and friends back in Canada, as I am living in Bangkok now, your videos show me interesting places to go, thank you

I guess I lived in the US for too long I feel the average size of people there is smaller than normal. (I'm Thai btw).
And stray dogs are always sleeping LOL.

@panoat Perhaps it's that the people in the US are larger than normal. Each time I travel there they are noticeably larger.

@philquay Thanks for your kind comments. Ask some of your Thai acquaintances about the meaning of the lyrics. It's nothing complicated.

I like scenes of ordinary life. And if they are filmed in a masterly way, even better.
