This is quite frightening. To learn what "the new world order" and "globalization" and "social justice" means, study "United Nations Agenda 21." Everyone should know what this agenda means to their everyday life. It's happening NOW!
You fuckers. There will never be a point in YOUR vision of society where even the poorest person on earth has 'enough.' To you the problem is maldistribution. You see ANY inequity in the income or wealth of two individuals, and you immediately conclude that a social injustice must have been committed, and that it is the principal role of government to resolve that injustice. You fucking idiots. Socialist cocksuckers.
You're blind to laziness, stupidity, and envy. Masturbate to my pics.
Fuckers. Rich / poor is a relative thing. Why not talk in absolute terms about what material things people have, or their financial resources. Should we continue the lie-filled conversation in the context of 'social justice' similar to the lie-filled propaganda about "20% of children in America go to be 'hungry' every night...." (when those kids are fucking OBESE?!). You fuckhead libs are misguided b/c most people want 'more than they have' and they don't want to work to get it.
Countries should import only those goods which are very essential for survival..not all goods..this not only will help saving fuels but also reduce pollution and green house effect,,it will also boost local employment.
Bottom line is Globalization Stops poor countries From developing..It makes the rely on foreign Exports..They do not advance..they just pay more to get something they dont have. it become more dangerous when that something they don't have is important (like Wheat) cause when the price of wheat goes high..they are forced to pay..and simple people are the ones that pay.

@isawanangel2 Have you ever considered that idea that "$2" is a lot of money to those people? Why do you think they'd choose to work there? Are they forced to work at gunpoint? No. They actually desperately apply for these low wage positions because their nation's standard of living is lower than that of first world countries. These jobs stimulate their economy and gives them a chance to learn and compete with other nations.
@isawanangel2 I agree. Unfortunately nearly all of these third world countries' governments are corrupted and the distribution of wealth IN THESE NATION (not throughout the world) is tampered with. There is little that these people can do because the government and economy of these countries are maliciously tied together. The best possible way to help these people is to stimulate their economy, because their government obviously won't. The best solution is outsourcing and unrestricted trade.
@seahawks78 ..Thats not really true. The poor have to deal with increasing competition from the middle class.Lots of middle class ppl are being laid off & goin into the low wage fields. And those low wage jobs' wages are droppin.
If we spread the wealth so that all countries have the same, the wealth will be taken, by the ruling elite once again and government will become an Oligarchy. The Great Leader and the ruling elite will have all the wealth and everyone else, will be nothing more than the social collective.
@cowgirlmoon You might be right, this is what likely would happen if this was done politically. Yet, does that give us justification to ignore the poor, and take from them? If we can't at least try to be equal economically then I think I would prefer to be on the rich side, yet you are welcome to be on the poor side. That way we are sure to have a balance so that the wealth isn't spread out. Not to be rude. Its easy to dismiss this, as "avoiding socialism" when we aren't the ones starving.
@elisasue I think the most important thing to remember, is "freedom of choice."
Each culture should be allowed the freedom to choose how they wish to be governed and if they choose wisely and can hold true to their values, they will succeed in ways that others might never understand. Whenever a government dictates to it's people, instead of the people, dictating to their government, you will find the resources and economic wealth, held tightly, in the hands of the ruling elite.
I completely agree with you. Yet, many people in developing countries don't actually have the freedom that we both think they ideally should. I guess if I didn't have the ability to have freedom to choose, even if I was a political activist working for that freedom, I would hope someone would provide assistance from the outside. So many are disparaging because of lack basic necessities, that are readily available in rich countries. I am not promoting socialism, only sustainable development.
@elisasue, The US has provided countless assistance to poor nations, unfortunately, selfish personal and political agenda has sometimes, overridden honest intent, in the leadership in those countries and ours, too. We can only do so much. We took Sadam Huessein out, but there are so many, with selfish intent, to take his place.... and even though I disagreed with starting that war, a chance for freedom has been presented. Now it is up to the people to decide if they want it.
you took saddam out? you foolish child. the UN tortured Iraq more than Saddam had ever done. Never think that the US and the UK are morally superior than Saddam.
@EternalRhyme I am NO fan of the UN, one of the most corrupt organizations, on Earth. I never said that the US, or the UK were superior to Sadam. The moral and immoral acts of our governments, depend mainly, upon the morality of our governing administrations, but as for the laws upon which my govt. was based, Yeah! You betcha! Many Americans, are woking very hard, now, to return to our founding principles. When Sadam was in power, how many immigrants did you see, trying to get into Iraq?
@EternalRhyme, My last sentance simply means that for at least the last 224 years, people have not exactly, been beating a path to the imigration office, hoping to live in Iraq.
so what? you think people are goin to want to go live in Iraq now that its an American protectorate? lady, you're thorougly deluded. people dont want to go live in the west because of your 'constitution'. 9 times outta 10, immigrants seek economice prosperity in the West. Nothing else. People seek fortune not your way of life.
@EternalRhyme , I think it doesn't matter, people didn't want to live in Iraq, before Sadam took over and people sure as hell, didn't want to live in Iraq after. We had prosperity BECAUSE of our constitution. Now that the communists have moved into our government, our prosperity has been given to the bankers and big business. In the past, people came here, seeking freedom and the oportunity for fortune.
the phenomenology of man clearly subjugates the topic of globalization, the juxtaposition here is that the poor remain poor, albeit the efforts of the proprietor.
The comments here indicate that no one has any idea what Prahalad is talking about.
To summarize:
In absolute terms globalization has been very good for the world's poor. There are 300 million fewer people living on less than a dollar a day today than [at some time in the past]. But though the poor are less poor, their income is not improving as rapidly as that of the urban upper classes.
The bad part is that if the poor feel they are falling behind (in relative terms) there may be unrest.
Good points! Good or bad is irrelevant; globalization is inevitable considering the communications available from the airplane to the internet. However, aggressive and unbridled Capitalism (same as the failed Communism) has led to social upheaval and extremes of wealth and poverty where some one thousand families (primarily in the US) control over 20% of world's resources whereas, the bottom 20% are homeless and starving of hunger. Such extremes must be dealt with soon.
yes, although the poor in developing countries like china and india get a job, they are still living below the poverty line.the people are not well protected under the labour law due to the government do not want to upset those foregin company, and the disparity between the rich and poor is getting more serious than before=(
Globalization means more power to the people of wealth.. the elite with the Global agenda will be more powerful than ever.Canada is in control of its own treasure. Central banks are in charge of Americas debt. they create the Crisis then introduce change to manipulate the people so they think their gov. is fixing the problem. All citizens need to stand up to gov. and say " YOU WORK FOR US" everyone citizen should write a letter to their political representive. on all sides of the border.
Some individuals think that the poor are who they are because of the choices they've made and thus should remain poor. Others feel that many cases are due to circumstances. Government brings the people together to form the solution. Without it the world would be full of selfish republicans neglecting their own fellow humankind. I'm sorry, but the republican party should either be abolished or reformed. Because they have become nothing more than a bunch of selfishrighteous selfish individuals.
In my opinion, the smaller the government the more people are taken advantage of. There is way more oppression from individuals who are allowed to do things THEY feel is best, over those who are forced to do what is good , not only for himself, but also for his neighbor. With individualism, there are no effective solutions for global warming. But as a collective through government, we give ourselves a chance. People as individuals seek their own interest FIRST at your expense even.
Double entry accounting is 700 years old. How hard can it be? Why can't every Americans all do accounting with computers we have now?
We shouldn't buy junk that depreciates because it reduces our NET WORTH? Why buy a $3000 laptop that will be worth $1500 in 18 months. I can get a used laptop for less than $500. What do I know how to do with the $3000 laptop that I can't do with the $500 unit. The new one has a bigger screen and more MHZ! SO WHAT?
protect own markets subsidize own products destroy their markets push em into debt crisis buy yourself "development projects" with their money destroy self-sufficiency and make them depended rip away environmental protection rip away social protection hit hard on unions install dictators train death squads blackmail them export weapons and war start proxy wars invade them loot and rape
The Soviet Union and Eastern Germany were also democracies. Remember? They could also choose to elect their executives by popular vote. Lol.
GDP per capita is in decline in Venezuela. I did not say literacy and health care are (though the will be soon.)
Seems like you fail to see that liberalized economies have been proven to grow the fastest and that globalization has created a standard of living unprecedented by any other in history. Well. I guess you can always move to Venezuela.
The popular vote in the Soviet Union and Eastern Germany were rigged, dumb fuckhead. Just like they are in the US (Diebold, Judges, obstruction, media, etc.)
CIA factbook: GDP in Venezuela rose "in 2006 by about 9% and in 2007 by about 8%". Population growth rate: "1.498% (2008 est.)". Source: The Central Terrorist Agency of the US.
"Globalization" means protectionism for the rich and neoliberalism for the poor. It's a crime. It's blackmail.
It's even more amazing how much of your brain is missing!
I know the USSR and the GDR were rigged and controlled. Just like how the Venezuelan media is controlled by the state. Can you not detect sarcasm?
Venezuela's economy shrunk by %18.5 in 2002 as well as 2003. The only reason the economy is growing at all is because of OIL PRICES. And why were oil prices rising? Was it because of Chavez's failing socialist policies? Or was it because of GLOBALIZATION?
I really wonder how many times I have to prove you wrong before you shut up.
It's hardly sarcasm to live in a country with rigged elections and ridicule the USSR or GDR for its rigged elections. That's not sarcasm, it's ignorance coupled with arrogance.
The media in Venezuela is owned by the opposition and bashes Chavez constantly. They imply that he's got a homosexual relationship with Castro. They broadcasted comics during the coup. You're an idiot and know nothing about the world.
I enjoyed your arguments. I think both you and benjamail are pretty intelligent. You both have very educated points and opinions coupled with facts. IMO i would call this argument a draw. Was fun reading though. And very educational.
I have of course to strongly disagree with your estimate. "benjama" is a ridiculous, uneducated dumb fuck who displayed almost every fallacy and evasion I can think of.
I started out with 16 SPECIFIC hypotheses and he replied with 1 ABSTRACT rant.
Instead of proving his 1 abstract rant when challenged he evaded by challenging back. Totally unscientific. You don't defend your position by the challenge to others to disprove you. Not one concrete fact from him yet.
I then proved him wrong with an indisputable example where leftist policies "have succeed [doing something for the people]". By then I knew that he's stupid and didn't chose the Machnowiki or something else he has no clue about.
He then replied with another unspecific, abstract rant, without any facts. When challenged, he evaded and changed topics. He started to talk about the Soviet Union to prove his point that Venezuela's elections aren't free - how dumb can someone be?
He then randomly changed topics and positions, totally forgetting what he was trying to say. He started out with the claim that no leftist policy ever improved the situation of the people - and suddenly claimed that GDP per capita is the measure for such - why so? No one knows. It's just too bad that he's even factually wrong. I never claimed that Chavez increased the GDP, but he claimed that Chavez didn't which is wrong (see CIA factbook). He went on that that's just because of oil prices - ???
This guy is just a complete fuck-up who is either changing subjects when proven wrong, or resorting to abstract claims, or trying to pull off strawman arguments, or ignoring reality completely.
The media in Venezuela is state controlled?
Speculation is dependend on the size of the market?
Well i just breezed over the post catching only certain details that interest me. I was just amazed that you seemed to know some of the inner workings of the GDP and CIA. A lot of what you both were talking was just kinda over my head and only you 2 can decipher much of what you were discussing. I don't doubt that one knew more than the other. Let me ask you, are you for globalization?
What benjama does or does not know is pretty much a secret as he is too dumb to apply basic rules of debate or make any accurate reasoning. But I doubt he knows anything of what he's talking about as his factual statements regularly are ridiculous (listed above).
The CIA factbook is a source open to everybody, it's published.
The GDP is a fantasy number that includes much of the "financial productivity" that showed itself to be a virtual ponzi scheme recently.
Globalization. Hmm. I guess that would be the world uniting in all aspects even to the point having one objection or goal. Not as one nation, but as 1 world wide organization.
Reasons? To me that sounds very selfish. And its full of restrictions. Seems very exclusive. And in the end, only some can benefit while others will be left out in the cold. Maybe you can clarify.
A pandemia is due every 60 years or so, we are long overdue. It spreads INCREDIBLY fast with modern travel habits.
Government should be abolished. However, if you don't it should at least be local, because it has more accountability then. You can nag your mayor, not the fuck in Brussels or Brainwashington. Power corrupts, more power corrupts more, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
I'm not a nationalist. People should consider each other as siblings - worldwide. Well, they are all relatives.
Are you saying Government should be abolished due to being corrupt? I agree. Over and over again man's governments has proven to be corrupt. But if government was without corruption, it would really benefit the people. People should not be total independent people because the same corruption would occur. People would look out for their interest over the interest of their neighbor. Government does help to neutralize individual corruption.
Venezuela's economy suffered in 2002 because of the sabotage of the opposition. Are you accusing the opposition? No, you accuse Chavez for the crimes of the opposition.
Oil prices aren't rising because of "globalisation". How dumb you are. They rose because of speculation. Speculation does not rely on globalisation.
If you doubt that Chavez is successful you can hardly do it by constant misinformation (blaming the wrong party, using positive numbers to prove a hallucinated negative result).
So you concede the price of oil is what made the Venezuela's economy rebound. What is speculation? Why is it so powerful? Is it because the majority of the earth's wealth is in the hands of very few that the speculation of a few makes such a large impact on the prices? Is it because of globalization that there is a disparity of wealth so large? Lol. Owned.
GDP is in decline in Venezueala, you idiot. The economy has barely grown at all during Chavez's reign compared to the US growth . NO FLIPFLOP. I didn't say anything about literacy or health care you fucking moron. NO FLIPFLOP.
Just have fun typing on your corporately produced keyboard, using an OS designed, marketed and sold by a corporation while wearing your corporate brandnamed clothing that was made with third world labor. You are just another walking, breathing, leftist contradiction.
You are so mentally abused with marxism that you cannot even see anything the way it is. You will always feel your jealousy of the "rich corporate elite" their "greedy ways" insomuch that you will never realize that you are equally as greedy and want to leach off their success.
You're just another ignorant fool that will feed of successes of others and accomplish nothing yourself.

Venezuela is a participatory democracy with the possibility to remove the president by referendum.
Seems like you swallowed the dumb neoliberal propaganda that destroyed South America hook, line and sinker...
trakkaton 3 years ago
The Soviet Union and Eastern Germany were also democracies. Remember? They could also choose to elect their executives by popular vote. Lol.
GDP per capita is in decline in Venezuela. I did not say literacy and health care are (though the will be soon.)
Seems like you fail to see that liberalized economies have been proven to grow the fastest and that globalization has created a standard of living unprecedented by any other in history. Well. I guess you can always move to Venezuela.
benjamaiLL 3 years ago
Wow, it's marvelous how uneducated you are!
IDIOT!
trakkaton 3 years ago
It's even more amazing how much of your brain is missing!
I know the USSR and the GDR were rigged and controlled. Just like how the Venezuelan media is controlled by the state. Can you not detect sarcasm?
Venezuela's economy shrunk by %18.5 in 2002 as well as 2003. The only reason the economy is growing at all is because of OIL PRICES. And why were oil prices rising? Was it because of Chavez's failing socialist policies? Or was it because of GLOBALIZATION?
It must be tough being so dumb.
benjamaiLL 3 years ago

GracebeNancy 3 years ago
I have of course to strongly disagree with your estimate. "benjama" is a ridiculous, uneducated dumb fuck who displayed almost every fallacy and evasion I can think of.
I started out with 16 SPECIFIC hypotheses and he replied with 1 ABSTRACT rant.
Instead of proving his 1 abstract rant when challenged he evaded by challenging back. Totally unscientific. You don't defend your position by the challenge to others to disprove you. Not one concrete fact from him yet.
trakkaton 3 years ago
I then proved him wrong with an indisputable example where leftist policies "have succeed [doing something for the people]". By then I knew that he's stupid and didn't chose the Machnowiki or something else he has no clue about.
He then replied with another unspecific, abstract rant, without any facts. When challenged, he evaded and changed topics. He started to talk about the Soviet Union to prove his point that Venezuela's elections aren't free - how dumb can someone be?
trakkaton 3 years ago
He then randomly changed topics and positions, totally forgetting what he was trying to say. He started out with the claim that no leftist policy ever improved the situation of the people - and suddenly claimed that GDP per capita is the measure for such - why so? No one knows. It's just too bad that he's even factually wrong. I never claimed that Chavez increased the GDP, but he claimed that Chavez didn't which is wrong (see CIA factbook). He went on that that's just because of oil prices - ???
trakkaton 3 years ago
This guy is just a complete fuck-up who is either changing subjects when proven wrong, or resorting to abstract claims, or trying to pull off strawman arguments, or ignoring reality completely.
The media in Venezuela is state controlled?
Speculation is dependend on the size of the market?
GDP per capita is measuring inequality?
We live in 2002/03 now?
Literacy and health care is no improvement?
The CIA does not know the GDP?
IT STAGGERS THE MIND!!!!
trakkaton 3 years ago
Well i just breezed over the post catching only certain details that interest me. I was just amazed that you seemed to know some of the inner workings of the GDP and CIA. A lot of what you both were talking was just kinda over my head and only you 2 can decipher much of what you were discussing. I don't doubt that one knew more than the other. Let me ask you, are you for globalization?
GracebeNancy 3 years ago
What benjama does or does not know is pretty much a secret as he is too dumb to apply basic rules of debate or make any accurate reasoning. But I doubt he knows anything of what he's talking about as his factual statements regularly are ridiculous (listed above).
The CIA factbook is a source open to everybody, it's published.
The GDP is a fantasy number that includes much of the "financial productivity" that showed itself to be a virtual ponzi scheme recently.
Define "globalization".
trakkaton 3 years ago
Globalization. Hmm. I guess that would be the world uniting in all aspects even to the point having one objection or goal. Not as one nation, but as 1 world wide organization.
GracebeNancy 3 years ago
And that's where the differentiation has to start.
Solidarity should be global.
Government should be local (concentration of power).
Travel should be less global (pandemia, ecology).
Information should be global.
Division of labor should be local (crash resistance).
Culture should be less global (diversity).
And so on...
trakkaton 3 years ago
Reasons? To me that sounds very selfish. And its full of restrictions. Seems very exclusive. And in the end, only some can benefit while others will be left out in the cold. Maybe you can clarify.
GracebeNancy 3 years ago
"Reasons?" are in brackets.
"To me that sounds very selfish." Reasons?
"And its full of restrictions." Restrictions are only possible once a concept is implemented. I'm talking about the concept, not the implementation.
"Seems very exclusive." Reasons?
"And in the end, only some can benefit while others will be left out in the cold." Reasons?
Clarification: The amount of flights done to day is absolutely disatrous towards the enviroment. There is an e-car, but no e-plane.
trakkaton 3 years ago
A pandemia is due every 60 years or so, we are long overdue. It spreads INCREDIBLY fast with modern travel habits.
Government should be abolished. However, if you don't it should at least be local, because it has more accountability then. You can nag your mayor, not the fuck in Brussels or Brainwashington. Power corrupts, more power corrupts more, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
I'm not a nationalist. People should consider each other as siblings - worldwide. Well, they are all relatives.
trakkaton 3 years ago
Are you saying Government should be abolished due to being corrupt? I agree. Over and over again man's governments has proven to be corrupt. But if government was without corruption, it would really benefit the people. People should not be total independent people because the same corruption would occur. People would look out for their interest over the interest of their neighbor. Government does help to neutralize individual corruption.
GracebeNancy 3 years ago
Venezuela's economy suffered in 2002 because of the sabotage of the opposition. Are you accusing the opposition? No, you accuse Chavez for the crimes of the opposition.
Oil prices aren't rising because of "globalisation". How dumb you are. They rose because of speculation. Speculation does not rely on globalisation.
If you doubt that Chavez is successful you can hardly do it by constant misinformation (blaming the wrong party, using positive numbers to prove a hallucinated negative result).
trakkaton 3 years ago
So you concede the price of oil is what made the Venezuela's economy rebound. What is speculation? Why is it so powerful? Is it because the majority of the earth's wealth is in the hands of very few that the speculation of a few makes such a large impact on the prices? Is it because of globalization that there is a disparity of wealth so large? Lol. Owned.
benjamaiLL 3 years ago
Yes, you're indeed owned. I simply have no motive to prove you wrong anymore. You do it yourself, without hesitation or reflection.
"GDP per capita is in decline in Venezuela."
"Venezuela's economy shrunk by %18.5 in 2002 as well as 2003."
flip flop
"And yet corporations have improved the lives of the poor more than any leftist idiot ever has."
"I did not say literacy and health care"
flip flop
You're just an imbecile who can't read, write nor think.
trakkaton 3 years ago
GDP is in decline in Venezueala, you idiot. The economy has barely grown at all during Chavez's reign compared to the US growth . NO FLIPFLOP. I didn't say anything about literacy or health care you fucking moron. NO FLIPFLOP.
Just have fun typing on your corporately produced keyboard, using an OS designed, marketed and sold by a corporation while wearing your corporate brandnamed clothing that was made with third world labor. You are just another walking, breathing, leftist contradiction.
benjamaiLL 3 years ago
You are so mentally abused with marxism that you cannot even see anything the way it is. You will always feel your jealousy of the "rich corporate elite" their "greedy ways" insomuch that you will never realize that you are equally as greedy and want to leach off their success.
You're just another ignorant fool that will feed of successes of others and accomplish nothing yourself.
benjamaiLL 3 years ago
So, explain to me again how oil prices are not directly influenced by globalization? I do not remember reading that.
benjamaiLL 3 years ago
You're even too dumb to read citations.
I'm not going to be your babysitter, rugrat.
Find someone else who's willing to give you attention.
Now piss off, troll!
trakkaton 3 years ago
You meant to write "cite" citations. Yes, the correct word would be "cite."
And you have not even cited a credible source. The Central Terrorist Agency of the USA. God, you dimwit. Even if you meant to say the Central Intelligence Agency they would not even be a source for that information.
And don't call me troll. You were the person that opened with the fallacious and provocative comment.
Umm, yeah. North Korea's economy grew 1234564.33% this year. Source: The Central Terrorist Agency.
