  • lalalalalala

  • My brother asked me what Swan Lake was. I buried him in the back yard.

  • @Sover26412 You did the right thing, sire.

  • disney's fantasia anyone?

  • good shit to paint to. yup.

  • first of all this is not classical music....music is set into 3 or 4 (if you count baroque) eras

(Baroque) ,Classical, Romantic, and contemporary.....Tchaikovsky music was created during the romantic era so he is not a classical composer like Mozart and Vivaldi....saying that you love classical music as a comment just makes you look immature in musical knowledge.

  • @ChordN Vivaldi is not classical as well,he is baroque! I usually dont like people who think they are better than others, you are no exception.

  • @spymanta first of a lot of musical professors very often use 3 eras(or four if you include baroque which i stated in my original comment) making baroque and classical assimilated together , making vivaldi a classical composer in contemporary terms. secondly i was not trying to sound arrogant i was just telling people the historical background of the piece and music in general so they are better informed and better enthralled in the world of music thats all :)

  • @ChordN I think the confusion comes from a period called the classical period and a musical genre called classical. Just as today one could argue that there was a "golden age of rock" such an era would not make it so that every musician from that time was a rock musician nor would it entail that rock is confined to that time period. The genre you mention is classical, though the pieces come from a variety of different eras.

  • @ChordN @ChordN The fault is in the English language which simply calls every sort of "serious music" plainly "classical music". I am not a native speaker and this confuses the heck out of me too, but according to wikipedia (yeah it's not the perfect source, but still) it is a valid term to use for any kind of such music. So if you are not a native speaker then check your dictionary before picking on words.

  • @ChordN Classical music is a widened term for all music before the 20th century. While you are technically correct it is just as acceptable to call this classical. Plus it has the added effect of not making you look like a pretentious asshole who feels the need to publicise the fact that they know the difference between Classical and Romantic.

  • @ChordN You are wrong. This is still classical music, although it was not written during the classical period.

  • " Scoop " Anyone ?

  • I bet that bassoon had fun.

  • I love the bit that goes dun dun dun dun.

  • This piece is so beautiful it's difficult to fathom. They played it on Black Swan for 5 seconds, at a maximum, and I was so upset.

  • Reminds me of my childhood...

  • The only problem with this piece is that it ends

  • The shortest and most eloquent part in my opinion. Can't get enough. Moar!!!

  • I first heard this on Ren and Stimpy (the episode "Stimpy's Cartoon Show" to be more exact).

  • Simply amazing. Though I wish it was longer. = )

  • 3人は、ちょうど白鳥が嫌いんだよ。

  • I'm totally imagining the dance that goes along with this every time I listen :)

  • This is such a hard part to dance.

  • @cbrme97 i know : it took me ages 2 do it right

  • underbart vackert...

  • Where can I find and download this track?

  • @nannaw2004 The same place everything else can get downloaded.

  • @1TtidnaB useful answer there.

  • cum sa va spun....vorba aia....deci......melodia asta e crima!

    this song is incredibly gorgeous!!!

thumbs up if you love this theme!!

  • i never get enough of listening this song theme. really!

  • wunderschön ich träume immer wenn ich das Lied höre *~*

  • HANDS DOWN masterpiece.

  • I love playing this on piano, magical!

  • I might play this. Clarinet trio style.

  • 23danb, this piece is the ultimate proof if ever you needed it. It's the closest I'll ever come to snobbery!

  • I love all of Swan Lakes music. :)

  • was..this...used in one of the kingdom hearts rooms? i swear it was somewhere

  • @quzarcable I was thinking the same thing! Halloween town...? Beast's castle...dunno!

  • @quzarcable i think in resident evil code veronica x video game rooms

  • fantastic music. thanks professor peter!

  • THIS SONG WON'T LEAVE MY HEAD.

  • this song is so amazing, it's been stuck in my head for almost a month now hahah

  • how LOUD is that ending?!!

  • I felt it.

    Felt what ?

I felt perfect. I was perfect.

  • @GossipGirl4696 bullshit!!! .. but i loved it anyway.

  • After seeing "Black Swan", listening to this will never be the same. Honestly, this was one of the most beautiful movies I've ever seen.

  • @GossipGirl4696 you don't have to watch black swan to love this music.watching a real swan lake performance with real dancers would make you feel and understand the music better.

  • @mpananoe uhm.. i don't remember saying that you have to watch Black Swan to love this ?

I was just saying, cause i was listening to this loong before Black Swan. And after watching it, it's just not the same anymore.

  • @mpananoe what changed?

  • I agree with you on the Nutcracker. it's just awsome. Swan lake is fantastic though

  • The Swan Lake is great, but the Nutcracker is still the greatest ballet ever.

  • This part wasn't in Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky original piece. It was added in 1895. The ballett was written in 1877, but adjustments were made underway. Still this is my favorite piece.

  • @Natalia7991 Tchaikovsky was Russian, not Polish.

  • @MsNatalie02 You can understand why people get confused though surely, Tchaikovsky does sound kind of polish.

  • He is a genius! Russian genius

  • This is pure magic I say..... :^))

  • greatest ever? ive seen 5 movies that use this track amazingly. black swan. scopp by woody allen and a few french movies like un baisier sil vous plais... very addictive and catchy

  • Can anyone else hear a little bit of Nightmare before christmas in this?

  • @Paradox484 you mean anyone hear a little swan lake in Nightmare before Christmas?

  • why does it seem all the gay people are most creative geniuses of the world?

  • @92reactor take Freddie Mercury composing Bohemian Rhapsody for example or Michael Angelo & Da Vinci as well. It doesn't mean you're a genius because you're gay. You either have ''it'' or you don't, no matter what sexuality preference you might have.

  • was humming this all day long. Heard it in a music gsce 2 months ago and decided to look up tchaikovsky ballet to see if i could find it. I love it. It's like a drug.

  • 100000 times better than biebers shit songs

  • @Guitarist500 lol fuck yes

  • the bassoon and oboe at the beginning is so cute. i love it(:

  • I'm a classical ballet dancer (primarily) and I'm so privileged to dance to music like this. It's not hard to dance well especially when you like the music.

  • 0:23 to :43 is one of the catchiest themes ever

  • Bobby Brown copied this piece in his "it's my prerogative song"

  • don't like this interpretation. not sprite enough

  • I like classical music, but I think Tchaikovsky is my favourite composer ! His music is so wonderful !! Il love it ! :)

  • My god this is just so perfect. Sooo frickin perfect

  • @23danb That's the reason why scientists put a golden record into the Voyager 1. IF anyone out there contact the space robe, they would find information about earth and humans on it. Audio and Image Files. The audio file includes classical music of Beethoven, Bach and Mozart.

Also it includes greetings in over 50 diffrent languages and also sound from nature, like animals, rain, thunder and the sound of chirping birds.

  • I LOVE CLASSICAL MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!

  • best part ever

  • When the world runs out of new songs, they'll go back to the past and finally understand classical music and why it survived the test of time.

  • And my parents always yell at me when I maximize the volume when I turn some classical music on ! They always listen to rock and hip hop ! Can you believe it ?

  • @Ralph95Mind What?:O They listen to hip hop???:O :)) that's crazy

  • @Bogdyindahous JUST WUT I THOUGHT :D

  • @Ralph95Mind

yeah it should be the other way around-i mean about the music not the yelling :D

  • @Ralph95Mind Thats just wrong..

  • i love Slayer and heavy metal and i can relate to this music. complex yet strong with some good breaks.. SLAYER!!!!!

  • yeah sure .. slayer xD

  • ah yes, i remember i had to study 6 whole weeks to play this act, it was nice once i learned it

  • Les poupées russes !!

  • i adore tchaikovsky.

  • does the begging remind anyone of star wars!!

  • Sort of but it reminds me more of the Tchaikovsky's Chinese dance more

  • Anyone who doesn't appreciate classical music doesn't appreciate the highest form of music, in reference to beloved 'fragitza.'

  • I'm glad that you yourself doesn't have the highest tastes... why not support the common culture even more.

  • Haha, wow... nice English skills.

    /sarcasm

  • thats the scoop theme!!<3

  • yes it is. I've been searching it for days!

  • Ahhhh I really wish this tune wud last for longer....love it soo much! <3

  • it's insanely good

  • Tchaikovsky was a fuckin' genious, and I don't care what anybody says!!!! :-)

  • I really do see little swans dancing around to this music. It's so great ^^.

  • YEAH MAN!! This shit is insane! When are they next on tour!!?

Last time I got impaled through the eye with a tenis raquet in a pit!! IT WAS AWESOME!!!

    P.S. SHRED!

  • fragitza productions, I actually had to waste my time to visit your puny pathetic little channel, and what did I find: Puny pathetic little commercial music. I'm quite fascinated by how someone as dull as yourself came across Tchaikovsky. An artist who has composed music over 200 years old, which easily beats the shit out today's pop musicians such as your beloved Alesha Dixon, who has no concern to deliver good music, but to make easy money & become famous by showing off her body.

  • It's more than just lobby music. It's the most expressive form of music ever invented.

  • @fragitza The legendary and arguably the most influencial artist of out time, Tchaikovsky, will go forth and remain the most influencial artist and music of human history. His work has inspired millions upon millions across art, literature, animation, and his music that lets people use their imagination to conquer their hopes and dreams. People's childhoods are based upon the beauty and celestial sound of Tchaikovsky. Miley Cyrus?Alesha Dixon? These two are the most pathetic excuses for artists.

  • @choobuka dude stfu, I get the point.

  • Can anyone describe the magic of the music in words? No, it's impossible. That's why, besides words, we have music too, as a totally different language.

  • @23danb You're right.

As Beethoven once said: "Music is a higher revelation than all wisdom and philosophy".

  • @23danb davinchi formulated it that way :"For showing us the visible we choose a skulptor or a painter ,for showing us the invisible we choose a musicien or a singer, and a mere writer or a poet is far behind in the arts for he shows us no santiment nor form in fact"

  • @L1gh73r1 He was a genius and all, but I do hope that's not everybody's opinion on writers and poets. This music is magnificent, but Shakespeare is magnificent as well. Say we take a less extraordinary example... I'm from Argentina, so I'm taking a Spanish example: Calderón de la Barca with his "La vida es sueño".

  • @L1gh73r1 If that doesn't move you just as much as this music, then you have no soul. Or Federico García Lorca and his poetry... and so many others. EVERY form of art has it different kind of "something". And I hope you all agree...

  • @23danb gorgeous words

  • ever since i was a kid I was a classical nerd. classical music rocks

  • I Agree :) x

  • GO CLASSICAL MUSIC NERDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i agree, this music is simply wondrous!

  • no1 can ever replace classical music!

    it's simply extraordinary!

it's better than any other music i've heard

  • Thank you! I don't think any one of us could have complimented Tchaikovsky's genius any better.

  • Of course you ain't! It IS wondrous music.

  • How can you not play this over and over?

    It IS amazing!

    I <3 Tchaik! Woot classical music! :)

  • Ah. You are not the only one. And is being a nerd a bad thing? No, in my opinion.

    Classiacal music nerds, rejoice!

  • this was one of our gcse listening exam pieces i got it sooo wrong aha

  • well thats what happens when you're a failure matt. its a ggood piece though

  • @3hlang

"Failure"? And you *know* mattcookie just based on what he said? Shows the kind of person you are......

  • no he's a good friend of mine. shows what kind of judgemental prick you are

  • Me, "prick"? LMAO... And you expected me to know he was your best friend? (if you're lying, then you're the "judgmental prick" here - not me).

So anyway, no hard feelings. Bless you.
