Palin was strategically plucked by a doddering buffoon & at a cursory glance reveals herself as the most unqualified VP in the universe.
She's not an inspiration to women, because she's using the fact that she's a woman as a political tool. That's something Hillary didn't do. She had dignity and more respect for the intelligence of the general public. Anyone voting for Obama because he's black or voting for Palin because she's a woman is wasting a ballot. Vote for the person more suited for the job. Being President of the United States shouldn't be an issue of affirmative action. It's a little more important than that.
I admire Hillary too as well as Sarah - too bad Obama didn't put her on his ticket - Sarah is doing a great job , she's a reformer - works with all the parties to get things done- very impressive and what we need in washington

Obama paid $300,000 LESS than the asking price for a DOCTORS HOME, while on the SAME DAY Rezko's wife paid the SAME doctor FULL price for the VACANT LOT next door. Obama was an attorney with the Firm that helped (slumlord) Rezko get more than $43 million in government funding to rehab 15 of their 30 apartment buildings for the poor. As for Sarah Palin, some of us knew about her before she was asked to run with McCain. We admired the reform that she initiated to clean up her own party even before running for Gov. We admired that she unselfishly chose to keep her child, birth defect and all (her CHOICE is not respected by some though). We liked that she lowered property tax, gas tax, and gave back to the people a part of the revenue from the oil companies every year, estimated at $1200 or more each year. To name a few.

A man stood up at the McCain rally and said he was angry that Obama is winning. McCain has used Ayers to try and make Obama look guilty of something. If you live in Wisconsin and happen to know that man, can you send him this message for me? Message: Sarah Palin and her husband are part of a group with a man named Joe Vogler. Vogler damned America and said Alaska should withdraw as a state. Will you get angry about that as well?

The man said he was mad that Socialists were taking over the country. I'm an Obama/Biden supporter, and I'm doing everything I can to rally Obama voters in my town (going door to door, telling young people in my university to Register and vote etc.) but Biden isn't really doing his job. Had Clinton become the VP, THAT would have shattered the glass ceiling. Should Palin become VP (heaven forbid!), it would mean NOTHING! She has not worked for this position. She doesn't deserve this position. McCain handed it to her. When a woman who DESERVES the Vice Presidency, or better yet, the Presidency gets it, only then will the ceiling be shattered. runner, I'll start by letting you know I'm an independent voter and have voted GOP as often as not. This to let you know I'm not responding out of blind partisan loyalty. You obviously are, and it makes it difficult to take you seriously. While I can appreciate Palin's stance reg. abortion, her firing of police chief Irl Stambaugh for trying to close bars earlier and fighting concealed weapons lets me know campaign money (the bar owners' & the NRA's) is more important to her than public safety.

She's not an inspiration to women, because she's using the fact that she's a woman as a political tool. That's something Hillary didn't do. She had dignity and more respect for the intelligence of the general public. Anyone voting for Obama because he's black or voting for Palin because she's a woman is wasting a ballot. Vote for the person more suited for the job. Being President of the United States shouldn't be an issue of affirmative action. It's a little more important than that.
