A President was killed who advocated the genocide in the first place... preparations took place long before Habyarimana's plane was shot down. The French trained many para commando units which actively took part in the killing of 800,000 Tutsis. How dare they point the finger at Kagame, the man ultimately responsible for the end of the mass Tutsi killings.
Rwanda had less than 5 million and a half inhabitants before the killings of 1994, of which 14% tutsi, which put the entire tutsi population at less than 770000 before said genocide; no tutsi would be alive anymore in Rwanda. Yet, despite the many that have fled, the tutsi now make up 15% of Rwanda's population of 10 million.

• 800000 of civilian deaths.
• 728000 tutsi before the genocide - 520000 tutsi after the genocide = 208000 tutsi disappeared, of which several thousands fled but did not die.
• the remaining 598000 to over 600000 of the 800000 deaths (3/4 of the genocide victims!) = hutu.
So who's picking belief over reality here?

Sure, murderers escaped; but the interhamwe were disbanded upon the fall of Rwanda. Those that Kagame's regime now labels as "the genocidaires", are a way larger faction of former Rwandese that oppose his autocratic regime by rebellion.

It is a minority os 20% of population who rule "Democraticaly" over a majority of 80% of the population. There is no such a thing as a good side in a war. Both sides are bad. I want you first to know that I am not from rwanda. But throughout the book I read( l'histore secrete du rwanda) I came to find out that Kagame, in order to take the power he had sacrificed both the lives of tutsi and Hutu, which had gone far to reach the number of one million. But without having him acted the way he did, the so call genocide wouldn't be exist. What was going on before kagame was not really Genocide to me, it is later on after he killed habyarimana, that so many lives were taken

If you are not from rwanda, you have issues that you need to resolve before interfering with rwanda. Tell me the book you read, about kagame, don't tell me it's a book that was written by people who are just oppossed to rwanda, who decide to give their own side of the story. If you read the history of rwanda, it doesn't begin in 1994 or 1990. Rwanda is been in existance for while.
