Again sorry to disappoint any anglo-imperialists out there but:-
The oldes border in Britain is not the border between Wales and England nor is it the border between England and Scotland.
Yes the suppressed truth is that the the oldest border on this island by a very long way is the Tamar line marking the ancient border between Cornwall and England. It was set in 935AD by King Athelstan of Wessex to mark the border of Wessex and Kernow/Cornwall. Read the history books...
We are circulating a petition calling on the government to recognise the Cornish as a National minority. It has been created by a Cornish person who is not a member of any political party or organisation but who is very concerned at what is happening in Cornwall. Please sign it and pass it on to your friends. We want to protect what there is left before all is lost !:

Beautiful, I can tell this is a real Cornish male voice choir, heard them on and off growing up, my family who left Kernow for work and a better life up the line have kept alot of the old traditional Cornish ways, in there only being 2-3 generations since leaving, which seems to have been lost by alot in the ancestral homeland, as it was always referred to by my mother
People keep saying how unique Cornwall is and all that......what about Shropshire??? i mean cornwall is basically celtic like the welsh so it aint unique me monner and salopians are not like other British peoples we are green eyed brown haired mercians with names like Smeaton,Smythe, ifflin, offlin, cole smitten, smitton and bowater(anglicised versions of mercian names). ty for reading.....

I think that is extremely disputable in Cornwall, the LD's proposed a Cornish Assembly if they got majority in the 1980s it never happened.
They promised the same thing at the last elections and what happened? The Unitary Authority! As admirable as the intentions maybe I still feel it comes across as spin to steal the nationalist vote,
