Speechless. I am still in shock about this. It all seems unreal. But that's life you know. How many times did those players jump in a plane to go to the next game? Many times. This was just another trip. But that's how crazy life is. Or should I say death? Really sad, and I cannot even imagine what their loved ones are going through. My deep condolenses and prayers go to all their families, friends, and fans. They will all be missed.

@MrJonesy09: Tom Cavanagh, most recently of the San Jose Sharks, a wonderful hockey player with schizophrenia, committed suicide in January 2011. He was 28. It saddens me that he is overlooked because of the deaths of better known playrs this off-season. May they all rest in peace.

i am sooo crying,im not a hockey fan, i dont even know these guys, havent watch their games even once, but i feel sad,. most of them are too young to die..and how they die soo tragic,i ws thinking months ago,for sure they were so hrd working, prcticing giving all their best to bring honor and victory to their country,Im lightning a candle for all this russian hockey player,May all of you rest in peace. not only is this a really sad day for all hockey fans, but imagine some players who have lost a few really good friends the past couple of months - guys who played with Boogaard, Rypien, Belak, Demitra, Skrastins, Karpovtsev and others --- RIP to all these guys and the others who died in Russia today - they're gonna have a pretty intense game tonight in the bink rink in the sky.
