I heard the bloke who designed this also designed the SR. Kinda makes sense. MT-01 looks gorgeous - second hand it's actually pretty good value for money.

I test rode one the other day and it was heaps of fun. The vibration of the motor goes right through your entire body. Personally, not a bike i could ride everyday. The novolty would wear quickly and I would go for a much smoother bike. It would be impossible to do serious distance travelling with it. But still. tons of torque ,pull your arms out of the sockets type torque. Definately a tuff looking bike.

Ok review. Cant agree with your views on the bikes cornering potential. Turn in is very reasonable for such a bike. It is very much at home in the twisties. If you've just jumped off an R1 I can see where you're comming from but it's no slouch and requires little effort. Cornering is improved with a change of tyres from the factory Pilot Roads. Pilot Powers work a treat.
