@1GHOUL1 it depends what you are eating, eat alot of fish, eggs, ham etc, more carbs too, toast pasta, never go hungry and eat all the way through the day, you also should train with heavy weight, try to get some testosterone flowing and damage those muscles and just always feel as if you are full. genetics, yes it does effect your potential, BUT you do not know your potential until you actually start this kind of diet and training and it doesnt just happen over night

i have a better solution to gaining quality weight. The most obvious problem with skinny people is that they most of the time have small body frame so at 5'8 when i bumped my weight from 115-135 by eating more food(not necessarily junk), at 135 i was in the right BMIrange but i maintained my small frame with significant excess fat on my face n stomach, most ppl at 5'8 at 135 arent fat at all but again its relative to ur frame, bmi is just height n weight but ignores ur frame/width/bone size

I am 180cm tall, 60kg male. I NEVER EVER gain weight no matter what I shove into my stomach. You name it, protein/carbohydrate powder, burgers and fries every single day, noodles every time I go to bed, steak/pork with fat for dinner etc. The ONLY way I gained weight was by doing intense weight training which allowed me to gain up to 71kg. I don't exercise now and am back to 60kg. Fricking frustrating. Fxxx!!!

According to the BMI calculator, which isn't very reliable in my opinion, you have a BMI of 19.9, which puts you in the normal range. However, you are on the borderline, so if I were you, I would put on maybe 20 lbs. or so. The reason why I don't think these are very reliable is because if you have someone who is the same height as you and weighs 215 lbs. with solid muscle, and very little body fat, it would show a BMI of 30, which would indicate that they are obese, even though they aren't.

@Soksimaniyasuka its probably because you excersize to much or you dont eat enough fat foods... at the moment i am skinny and i eat loads so im cutting back on the excersize and eating more fat foods and alot more healthy food to keep me going

Porridge is high in calories but it's also very high in fibre! If you make it with full-fat milk, that will help to increase the calorie content.

According to the BMI calculator, which isn't very reliable in my opinion, you have a BMI of 19.9, which puts you in the normal range. However, you are on the borderline, so if I were you, I would put on maybe 20 lbs. or so. The reason why I don't think these are very reliable is because if you have someone who is the same height as you and weighs 215 lbs. with solid muscle, and very little body fat, it would show a BMI of 30, which would indicate that they are obese, even though they aren't.

nuts, olives, fish have good healthy fats. Eggs, meat, grains, milk and even cheese have proteins.

Any advice for a guy with a hyperactive metabolism? I want to join the army next year after i finnish uni, I'm nearly fit enough but am a stone underwieght (about 7kg), am looking to put on about 2 stone (12 -14kg) in the next year and was wondering if you had anymore advice

I weighed 92 pounds at 12, am 21 now and still weigh 92 pounds! Some people have very high metabolisms, just keep eating often throughout the day.
