Aerosmith on the other hand, is fucking legendary. And Steven Tyler is great enough to give green day (a good enough band) an ovation, as they are about to receive an award. That's pretty damn cool.
I like Aerosmith. But my favorite band is GD! It's time to Aerosmith pension off. At the presente, the are just a buch of old men, that only play old hits! How many time do they not make new stuff?

Okay,You CANNOT compare Aerosmith and Greenday.Its impossible,Aerosmith was an old band,thus they were influenced by older music,that taking an effect on their songwriting.Greenday are more recent then aerosmith,their era of music taking a toll on their songwriting.
As much as I love Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Tyler blows Billie out of the water on songwriting.

billie isn't a best songwritter, steven wrote dream on when he was 17, he wrote mama kin, amazing (killer solo), one way street.
