FUCKING BRILLIANT. End of story. Loved him from day one, seen him a number of times.... anything he does only makes me love and respect him more. Amazing. Thanks for sharing. :)
I saw Ian on Friday night in Houston and he sang this song for 6 people in a corner of the bar after the show had "officially" ended! OMG, it was bone chilling and mind numbing. To say that it wasn't recognizable is ridiculous. No one, NO ONE, could ever do this song justice besides Ian.
He rarely comes to NC--saw him in a bbq joint in Raleigh a couple yrs ago, he and I talked about the shows at Ziggys 15 yrs prior--helluva nice guy, and a masterful musician
Thanks for this post!! Got The Green Grass was one of my favorite CD's from Ian. I believe it was at this point in his career that he finally realized that he was going to decide where his music was going to go, and no record company executives were going to tell him how he should play his music. Ian's a great artist and true to his passion, that is what makes him great. Thanks again for the footage.
He played a bar (Red Bicycle) on Vashon Island Wa last week, by far the best show I have seen in a long time. Us Seattle folks are deprived of great guitarists lately, and man did he kick it out!
I used to bounce at a bar called the Wormy Dog in Stillwater, OK and Ian Moore played there often. Nice guy. I had the honor of "guarding" a door on stage left that nobody wanted to use anyway. So I had the best seat in the house. Right on stage! Talented, talented artist. Very under appreciated.
I heard him sing it last week and recognized it just fine! Artists evolve or they become lame. There are plenty of wanna-be rock gods out there if that's what you need to listen to! :) PS loved Paris, Texas at the end of this video. Still a very "current" example of Ian.
Ian does his song Satisfied in many different ways. But keep in mind: it's his song. He can play any way he wants, and until someone can do it better, (yeah right), they ought to just enjoy his music and his talent for songwriting.

I was probably at that show -- I tried to go to all his Stillwater shows back in the day. Long live the Wormy Dog!

This is the Ian I remember and loved his music. Saw him a couple of weeks ago and hardly recognized the song Satisfied.
