I have never seen a better band than these guys....They were the coolest sounding and cleanest sounding band of all time!! They were so tight when it came to playing live....THE BEST EVER!!!

Hi George00719 I don't think they ever played pop which is why they never really had a high chart position except Lessons in Love which reached number 3.

They released many singles after the funk infusion but were never really pop.

Shows like X factor and people like Cowell have fucked up the music industry totall.

When is ther going to be a musician factor,never cos musicians don't sell records just tits and teeth.

yeh..pop is fine for some i guess..Pop is a business and sells product to the masses. It serves a purpose but there's no quality control..jus greedy execs milking it, still if you don't like it don't go in the shop! I prefer 42's early stuff..I think they got sucessful doing pop but before and after that they were not really pop..one thing no one can deny is their musicianship and creativity wonderful!
