  • reggie was definetely overhyped but he's still a good player. this season hes got like 1300 all purpose yards, 1086 of them were rushing and averaged fucking 5 yards a carry. thats a weapon for miami

  • Bush pretty much has 1000 yards now, and has 2 games left. He's not so funny now, is he?

  • 88 in Madden as a rookie lol

  • lol

  • oops, he may fix his career in miami.

  • people got onto the Texans for passing on Bush, turns out they were right. i said it BEFORE the draft. if Bush went to houston, he would've ran into walls because of a poor line. Bush didnt do great in New Orleans, he fix his career in Miami.

  • All you haters. Bush was and still is in many ways a phenomenal player. Absolute brilliant runner and has proved himself in the NFL many times. You may think he is a bust but you are truely wrong.

  • All he has to do is show his ring and sit the haters down

  • I guess Gale Sayers was a mediocre role player

  • bust

  • this shows that evaluating talent is tough. i thot Reggie was gunna make the nfl defenses look like college players cuz we was makin college players look like high school players...im wrong lol

  • Maybe he should be a wr/pr

  • I MISS PAUL TAGLIBUE

  • cant say he was a bust, but he didnt meet expectations in the big easy

  • he's not a bust maybe he was in NO as a running back but he's about too do work in miami

  • drew brees won that SB not reggie bush

  • @TheAdrianFlo

seriously, i hate hearing how Bush won a super bowl. Brees was the star of that game, not Bush, now maybe he does well for Miami, maybe not, but he is NOT the Clinton Portis or Gale Sayers people thought, he's more (right now) like Kevin Faulk.

  • I swear look at the jets fans they wanted bush they're the lucky ones if they knew how he would've turned out

  • Comment removed

  • mario williams: 2x all pro

    reggie bush: none

  • @unspeakablyable reggie bush HEISMAN 2 BACK TO BACK NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS SUPER BOWL RING.mario williams NOTHING.u fuckin serious reggie bush is a way more exciting player than mario williams.GO ELUSIVE RUNNING BACKS!

  • @datoldschoolraplova What the hell does the heisman and national championships have to do with his pro Career? and you bring up the Saints Super bowl ignoring the fact he was nothing more then a role player for that team, he wasn't even the best Running back for the Saints that Super bowl year it was Pierre Thomas.

Bushes best season was his rookie season, Reggie was drawing comparisons to Barry Sanders by the media before he even touched a football at the pro level he is clearly a Bust

  • @jonburns55 Of course their is no debating!!!!!!!!!

  • reggie is not a bust he is not a full time halfback but he is a huge difference maker in the special teams and can spread on the field basically da man eats up the yards.

  • its funny how New Orleans is celebrating if only they know what he would turn out to be

  • @wingo0pandas what happened to the saints when reggie was injured?

  • We finally made up for our mistakes thank you jesus Mark Ingram!!!!!!!!!

  • REGGIE BUST!

  • Bush is Like Vick Exciting but never really truly panned out

  • I know Reggie Bush was a bust so far, but I still think he has potential to be a great running back. Now he will never be Gale Sayers, but he still show flashes of how good he can be. I think he just needs a shot with a new team and coach, but it has to be the right team and coach. Afterall, when the Saints won the Superbowl a couple years ago, Reggie Bush completely tore apart the Cardinals D in the divisional round.

  • bust

  • If Reggie Bush was a fifth round pick then I'd say he's had a nice career but he's a bust plain and simple.

  • This is an okay pic, but Reggie can't run. He is a running back. So, I don't know. Titans were so correct to draft Williams.

  • Remember when the Texans got so much shit for taking Mario Williams over Bush. Turns out they made the right choice

  • But Reggie has a ring

  • @1977phatty - Because of Brees. He didn't contribute.

  • @1977phatty and Deion branch has a Ring it doesn't mean hes better Than Andre or Calvin Johnson so whats your point?

  • reggie BUST not reggie bush.... if there a spread offense den why they bother gettin him they shoulda got someone like ted ginn or whatever receivers there were they wasted a #1 draft picc on him.... yea hes a real good #1 picc he plays like he was a middle rounder

  • @SCREWSTATEOFMIND Ted ginn was also a high 1st round draft pick so your point about him is moot.

  • to all you idiots saying reggie is a bust cuz he doesnt run up the middle or get the ball enough, sean payton runs a spread offense. not one player on that offense gets more balls or carries than any one else. reggie works out pretty damn good for the saints if you ask me. (being that they won superbowl 44 and all) and btw, whoever said reggie was a between the tackles runner anyway? i mean look at the dudes college career...

  • @89bteal Thats just false chris ivory was getting almost 20 carries a game b4 the injury...they want to give reggie bush that many carries but they know they can't. look how shitty he was against the seahawks when he was pretty much the only rb they had...he did fucking nothing

  • @Blues307 nothing i said was false buddy. ivory got carries due to injury to everyother RB. and one game does not make a player. look at the arizona playoff game, he freaking molested that D. and reggie also plays receiver and returner. and julius jones was the main RB in the seattle game actually. he had like 2 td's.

  • the last thing reggie bush is, is a bust

  • not bust but just overrated coming out of collage

  • Reggie will have a breakout year sooner or later. Maybe it's just in punt returns...like Hester.

  • Bush is a bust, he scared of contact. He tries to outrun everyone. He should just convert him to WR

  • BUST

  • bust

  • on the map? lmao that year the owned the map

  • OH SHIT I MEANT "ROLLING" NOT "RILLING" ON MY LAST COMMENT

  • OH SHIT I MEANT "ROLLING" NOT "RILLING"

  • I WAS RILLING WHEN JETS FAN GOT HELLA PISSED WHEN THE SAINTS GOT REGGIE BUSH EVEN MORE FUNNY REGGIES FACE EXPRESSION WAS LIKE "THANK GOD IM NOT PLAYIN FOR THE JETS"

  • hey he got a Superbowl ring, so all of you Bush haters, can go suck it

  • @vandamnyc26 I bet mario williams could definitely won a SB with the Saints last season :P

  • ONE WORD ...

    BUST

  • @XxRAid3RzZ Cosigned

  • TO NFL PLAYERS STATS DON'T MEAN ANYTHING BUSH EVAN SAID IN AN INTERVIEW HE DOESNT CARE WHAT THEY THINK ABOUT HIM OR THE CRITICS BOTTOM LINE IS HE WON A RING THATS THE ONLY THING HE CARES ABOUT YOU SAW HOW BAD THE SAINTS PLAYED WITHOUT REGGIE THEY GOT BEAT BY THE BROWNS LOSS AFTER LOSS BECAUSE THERE ARE WAYS YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO YOUR TEAM WITHOUT STATS BUSH BEING ON THE FIELD ALONE MAKES THE DEFENSE USE AN EXTRA GUY TO COVER HIM AND LEAVING A WIDEOUT WIDE OPEN..

  • REGGIE ISNT A BUST HE JUST DOES NOT GET THE BALL THE SAME WAY HE DID IN COLLEGE EVERYONE ONE WHO WAS A REAL EXPERT NOT THESE DUMBASSES IN THE VIDEO KNEW THAT THE SAINTS PASS MAYBE 40-50 TIMES A GAME AND DO NOT RUN ALOT BUSH AVERAGES MAYBE 5-7 TOUCHES A GAME WEVE SEEN HIM WITH 20 CARRIES WHEN HE HAD 130 YARDS AND A TOUCHDOWN AGAINST NEW YORK BEST RECIEVEING BACK OF ALL TIME AND A GREAT RETURN MAN

  • he hasn't met the expectations he had based on his college career but hes definitively not a bust. linert on the other had =/

  • Ring or no ring, Reggie is a bust.

  • @EpicElectric ur dum when u help ur team win a championship ur not a bust. he scored 4 tds in the playoffs in 09 and had numerous 1st downs in the sper bowl. .

  • Ryan Leaf is a bust. JeMarcus Russell is a bust. Reggie's career doesn't even touch that level of horribleness. So, those two names alone should keep the words bust and Reggie Bush away from each other.

  • @ikedogg423 Reggie could neva be a bust underachiever yeah kinda but the guy has so much talent when shown unlike Jamarcus and Ryan leaf.

  • Reggie Bush: One of the most classic draft busts of all time.

  • i dont get why people call him a bust

i know nobody on here has a superbowl ring

won a heisman was an all american

and of course get drafted in the nfl draft

  • @clayj4727

There was so much expected out of him, I remember prior to him getting drafted everyone was saying that he was the greatest college football player ever and he was going to be one of the next great running backs in the NFL.

  • @clayj4727

the reason people call him a bust is the comparisons, listen to these guys. Gale Sayers, Marshall Faulk. he's not even close to those guys, yes he won a Super Bowl, but so did the backup quarterback to Drew Brees. Bush's hype was big, but his play hasnt been bigger than his hype.

  • @clayj4727 You can scratch that Heisman award, because he was relinquished it. Regardless, only one word can accurately describe Reggie Bush:

    BUST

    'Nuff said.

  • @OrochiGeese7 have u seen his highlights do you know why there so good its because there balanced they could have the best rb in the game if he ran as much as chris johnson does he has balance in the organazation he would get 1500 yards if he ran as much as chris johnson dumb ass

  • @Kennethbolds Here's the difference: Chris Johnson is NOT afraid to run up the middle, between the tackles, and has superior vision on the field. Bush is sub-par, at best in all of those categories. The facts don't lie, Junior.

  • @Kennethbolds ur a fucking retard if you think that...there was a reason reggie bush averaged less than 4 ypc his first 4 years asshole

  • @OrochiGeese7 How is Reggie Bush a bust? He did amazing last year with the Saints.

  • @Mr420woo First, the man is too much of a coward to run in between the tackles, and that is KEY to a team's success (among other things) in the NFL. Secondly, He can't stay healthy to save his life (this season, 'nuff said). Thirdly, his vision is average at best. Again, Reggie Bush would be a top end receiver, but as a RB, Reggie Bush is a BUST.

  • we all know there has been a huge debate over whether he's been a bust or not, but that really doesn't matter. so what if he has never had a season with over 1000 yards, he an explosive player and is great for special team, great speed, great agility, and a great player that helped New Orleans out in the rebuilding process since 2006. who dat!

  • Reggie Bush is gona have his best year in 2010-2011. he looked like Bush from USC in this preseason.

  • @MEMJ23 and now he´s out with his leg-injury -.-

  • Reggie bush 2nd overall and Maurice Jones-Drew 2nd round.

Jacksonville got the running back in draft in 2nd round.

  • @titans55181

dont forget DeAngelo Williams, he was taken in round 1 and he's better than Bush.

  • overrated

  • BUST

  • He needs to stop running around people and start running at them. If he did that he'd be way more dangerous than he is now.

  • To be a successful back, you need to hit the hole and find cutback lanes. Reggie Bush would always bounce to the outside and use his lateral quickness and turn the corner. That doesn't work in the NFL. In the playoff game Reggie ran hard and hit them right up the gut. If did that regularly, he would reach his potential. I also just wanted to say how sad it is that his career highlight thus far is getting smashed by Sheldon Brown his rookie year

  • the saints halfback pirece thomas however u spell it is better then bush in my opion and he wasn't even drafted

  • New Orleans got robbed of a #2 pick he has never rushed for more than 600 yards in a season. He has not put something on the table for this team he's it's fuckin incredible he resolved to punt returns. Not #2 overall pick like #7

  • Reggie is #1 in my mind!

  • i bet the jets fan now was like we look like dumbasses

  • @TheGhostOfThe904 im a jet fan i hate how they do boo every pick but i well boo Reggie Bush he not that good over hyped he just a back up

  • he was so over hyped

  • Everybody was pissed then, but now that you look at it I would say Mario Williams is the better player.

  • @yqpgal No, I would say that. I would SCREAM IT. The difference Mario Williams isn't just a better player; the difference is night and day. Williams is one of the best if not thee best DL.in the league. (How Many edge rusher are equally effective against the run?), Bush isn't ever the best RB on his team.

  • BUST!!!! Lost starting job to undrafted player. Chris Johnson and Adrian Peterson are doing what bush is supposed to be doing. How many 1000 yard seasons does Bush have? none that's why he is a BUST

  • @36brownboi How many 600 rushing yards + 600 recieving yards + punt returns does AP / CJ have?

  • @KurtTwo2Two Probably none. I know CJ has some receiving yards because he hold the record for most yards from scrimmage. But CJ and AP will never have any Punt or Kick return yards. Most coaches don't put their skilled players on Special Teams, because they are starters and they need to keep them healthy. that role is reserved for scrubs and second stringers; like your 2nd or 3rd string RB or 4th receiver, you know, your Reggie Bush types.

  • @anrew1997 Yea a bust with a ring while the jets sit at home.

  • reggie is a great running back....he gets the most important plays and has great running ability..not even mentioning his punt returns...nobody does it better..except ur mom..nigga!!

  • @anrew1997 how is he a bust?

  • @BassManCrenshaw How can you not see it? Have you seen his stats!? RB is the easiest transition for a player coming from college. Real RBs like: Adrian Peterson, DeAngelo Williams, Chris Johnson etc. have ALMOST rushed for more yards in one season, than he has in a career. He isn't even a starter, he just runs plays, coming off of the bench. When you look at his career vs Mario Williams, you have to say the Texans made one of the greatest decisions in NFL history

  • @coliwood yeah the texans are really good and superbowl champs?

  • @BassManCrenshaw Are you arguing that Reggie Bush is a better player than Mario Williams because the Saints are super bowl champs and the Texans are not? If so, then you could also argue that Kevin Faulk is a better RB than Barry Sanders was, because Faulk as 3 superbowl rings and Barry doesn't. Or even worse Reggie Bush was the reason why they got their ring. I hope your are not making that argument because then I would have to call you a Football Idiot.

  • all he is a a good looking guy

  • guess the jets really wanted him he is my favorite player hope he does good in NFL 2010-2011

  • @dmanvieth yeah, people thougtht he'd be good in 06", then they said wait till 07" then they said, 08" would be he year. Then they said, 09" was a going to be his break out. So, your right 10" or 11" or maybe 12" might be the year.

  • he was one of the most popular players, i knew people who didnt know any player from USC or college football, but reggie bush

  • reggie bush is a bust because he was the second pick in the draft. YOu could get a guy in the 3rd or 4th round to do the same amount of things that reggie bush does now.

  • @mjharleem I think bust was the wrong word here, he was over hyped yes, but he still is a good player, just not the great player everyone believed he would be

  • @RogunK

I think bust fits. When a guy goes number two overall, he better be a major contributor on that team for a long time. Mario Williams, D'Brickashaw Ferguson both gonna be big parts on their teams for the next ten years. Reggie Bush is a glorified role-player. Therefore bust. Even the idea, "Well he also catches", yeah that's pretty normal for a change of pace back. And I wouldn't say he's in the top five of those guys.

  • "More explosive than Marshal Faulk"- Mel Kiper

    What a joke!

  • Didn't people think the Texans were stupid for passing on Bush, it seems like they are just fine without him, i stand by what i said on draft day, if Bush went to Houston he would've ran into walls of opposing defenses (a running back can't solve blocking issues).

  • Thank GOD he didn't go to the Jets

  • at 2:55 reggie freaked dem niggas! lol

  • Imagine reggie bush on the jets it wouldnt be the same

  • i love reggie but we need to bring in a special rb coach for him to reach his ful potential

  • He just won a Superbowl ring, and played lights out in the playoffs. @ Chargerfanforlife - how could we be in any better position if we'd drafted Jones-Drew, we just won the Superbowl. Watch more football and stop hatin: Reggie averaged 5.6 ypc this season and 7.6 ypc in the playoffs. Learn about it

  • @spinner2k3

Seriously, you don't think your team wouldn't be better served with a 1,300 running back who had 16 total touchdowns than Bush?

  • No, b/c that would take touches away from Reggie and Pierre Thomas, who when used together, and properly, are far more valuable than a work horse type back like Frank Gore, those guys have 3, maybe 4 good years and then their careers are done b/c they've been run into the ground. Reggie and Pierre's career's will last far longer and be more successful because of the way they're utilized.

  • you would be better because you got a probowl RB! MJD was the best RB in that draft by far.

  • I honestly don't think that MJD could do anything we ask our players to do in our offense better than Pierre Thomas. Plus we have the luxury of 2 backs that will ease the wear and tear on their bodies. MJD is great, but Pierre and Reggie fit our system perfectly and MJD would not much to our offense overall. Also remember our passing game is our bread and butter with Drew Brees

  • thats gonna happen to me won day

  • Imagine where the Saints' would be if they traded down and got Maurice Jones-Drew.

  • yea i know they wudv won a super bowl by now :P

  • lol they said he was more explosive than marshaul faulk

  • @chargerfan4life21

yeah, that was very wrong wasn't it, he isn't even close the talent Faulk is.

  • he is listed at 6ft but here at 5"10 so he grew that much in just 2 years?

  • that was a great choice look wher they at now

  • Thats because the team is so good especially Drew Brees, Reggie Bush is not the reason the Saints are so good today....

  • @Deadshot089

agree, Brees is the reason they are the champs, not Bush, Brees, they could release Bush, and draft in round 2 Joe McKnight and won't miss Bush at all.

  • how is he a bust...sought of like vick...he's not the typical RB...he catches the ball and does unconventional things..stop hating n get a life

  • @1masfarero hes like the saints 3rd rb on the depth chart hes supposed to be like the next barry sanders or something and hes just an avg players

  • 0:42 is that mark sanchez

  • @oscarmay25 nooooo? that guy is definetly white maks spansih

  • No. Matt Leinart

  • you Know what I can see what u mean but I doubt it

  • Infact it might be bcoz he was at USC aswell i think

  • @oscarmay25

    no, its matt leinart

  • lol reggie bust

  • wow houston picked mario williams over reggie or vince young

  • @BlueExplore

yeah, Mario Williams is a stud at defensive end, Vince Young is starting to grow and Bush needs to work at being a better running back, but as a reciever, he's got that down.

  • In hindsight that was a brilliant move

  • bush isn't a bust. I knew he wasn't guna be an amazing RUNNING BACK. Hes gotten alot better at tking the hole. his big problem was lways trying to hit the homerun. The sints dont make the playoffs that one year without him though. he makes so many big plys in the passing game, outside runs, returns. hes a great back out of the shotgun and has great hands. he may not have turned into as good of a RB like people thought thogh he had 86 yds off of 6 carries a few games ago. hes a good player.

  • i thought he was 6ft?

  • J-E-T-S Just End The Season. Jets fans are the worst. Whiny, Crybabies about EVERYTHING!!!!!, not just football. Classless human beings. Actually, they are more like sub-humans.

  • bush is a good player but hes a bust considering the fact that he was suppost to be a great running back which he isnt BUT hes a big time weapon as a reciever

  • mel kiper blows

  • I bet reggie bush is like wes welker. wes never did much for the dolphins. then he went to the patriots. and hes awesome. watch reggie go to like the jets or pit and tear it apart

  • wes welker did alot for the dolphins on special teams

  • He needs to switch to reciever because running back is not working for him.

  • I know right he would excel at WR.

  • i agree, if he got switched to reciver, Bush wouldn't be known as a bust in my book, at reciever he can play, he is very fast and can catch, he isnt a great running back because he doesnt break tackles up the middle, at reciever he could make some noise.

  • @freejdc1 ok your a dumb mother fucker... enough said

  • @freejdc1 ok? are u retarded or something

why should he switch to reciever when they won the fuckin super bowl with him playing running back dumbass.

  • @vikingsfan4lyph In case your stupid ass hadn't noticed, that comment was over 7 MONTHS AGO. They did not when the SB then. Also Pierre is and was the STARTING RUNNING BACK doofus. And furthermore it is my opinion. Opinions are like asswholes everyone has one. So are you going to cuss everyone out on youtube who states their opinion. Grow the hell up. And yes REGGIE BUSH WOULD BE A BETTER RECIEVER! Don't like it, Frankly my dear I DON't GIVE A FUCK :)

  • @freejdc1 reggie bush can be a starting runningback if he just got tougher

  • @cantbeatme100 and you're telling me because?

  • @freejdc1 half his yards are from catching the ball, thats why he fits in with the saints so well, if Brees can't find a guy down field, he can check down the Bush

  • @RogunK great!! tell someone who cares:)

  • @freejdc1 ok watch him play then :)

  • @SpursSaintsMedia No thanks, I've seen enough ;)

  • @freejdc1 ok then don't share your opinion if you don't know what you're talking about. The Saints game you've seen played was the Super Bowl I bet. And Reggie was still effective in that game.

  • @SpursSaintsMedia I knowwhat I'm talking about. He was drafted high and expected to be this magnificent running back. Guess what he hasn't. He has made more productive plays recieving than he has running. He is not even a starter!!! And he is nearing the end of his contract so of course his stats are going to be "inflated". Start talking to me when he has a 1000+ yard season(RUSHING). Maybe he will because he's in a contract year but still highly unlikely given his track record.

  • @freejdc1 see you haven't seen him play. If you knew New Orleans offense you would understand they don't just use 1 runningback as the primary guy. Last season they regularly rotated Thomas, Bush, and Bell every other play. Same with when it comes to receivers. The receivers are amazing, but not the top statistically because the offense is all spread out. And Reggie Bush was overhyped coming into the draft. It's not his fault he wasn't the next Earl Campbell. That's not the type of player he is.

  • @SpursSaintsMedia I'm not trying to debate you. I think his receiving skills are far superior to his rushing skills. He has had great receiving seasons and if he switched he could be one of the top recievers in the league.

  • @freejdc1 Accept he averaged 5.6 ypc last year and 6.9 ypc in the playoffs..

  • @LSUfreak25 And???

  • @freejdc1 It was in response to you saying he needed to switch to WR..

  • @freejdc1 and that means he gets a first down in two runs. Most running backs in the league can't say that.

  • @SpursSaintsMedia What part don't you understand. This comment was mad 10 months ago when he sucked. Don't share your opinion if no one cares what your saying.

  • You really have to give the Texans credit for selecting Mario Williams.

  • reggie bush still hasn't rush for a 1000 yards he didn't live up to the hype hell even ryan grant has rush for a 1000 but a 1 rounder can't

  • very true, people talk about his total yards, but he was a number 2 pick, he was compared to Marshall Faulk, that comparison now is just stupid because Bush rushes for 500 yards in one season which isnt good.

  • its cuz he doesnt start retard

  • @BlueExplore

he shouldn't start, he isnt a great back, he is a great reciever though, very quick and can move, but at back, he doesnt break tackles or get big yards.

  • Bush is not a Adrian Peterson or LT. He's more then them. He is just an avg running back that anytime he gets the ball it can go the distance. The saints do NOT have the best line and NFL defenses are only getting better. He is better then almost any back in the league. He can catch and then gain more yards. He can rush the ball decent. He can return. So basically anytime hes on the field it can be 6. Adrian you dont see that out off.... Name a back who you do see it from? Please tell me.

  • i like reggie bush.. he's entertaining to watch..especially on special teams..

other than that, he hasn't really done much at the pro level, he's finished only one season in the NFL. he's not really effective on the ground, that's why they have pierre thomas.

and last year, Drew Brees was the saint's offense.. thats why he had 5,000 yards last year.

Reggie Bush has to stay healthy if the Saint's even want to think of the super bowl. at the end of the day, football is a team sport!

  • AP is the bigger home run threat than bush and the more complete running back. AP has had more big runs in his career holds the all time single game rushing record with 296 yards in a game bush doesn't have half of that in a game. Yeah he can catch the ball but he is not nearly strong or durable enough to be a top ten rb in the nfl

  • wtf what about Tomlinson he's gonna be known as the second greatest back ever behind Emmitt Smith. 132 career rushing touchdowns at age 29

AP 33 career rushing TDs at age 24. I highly doubt he will ever make it to even the top 5
