Why can't the music of today be exactly like the music of before, I mean I know each generation wants to be different but now a days it's just to the point of ridiculousness! Anyway, you really nailed this one gave it the emotion and sensitivity that ol Billy was known for giving this classic! This is brilliant Erwin. I can tell that you have a very special connection with this song; one who has been singing this for many years. Your voice is lower than Joels but it still fits very well. Your vibrato gives each song you sing your personal touch and that is what I enjoy most about your singing. I have been reading some of the more unsavory comments but don't pay attention to them. I don't want to listen to exact copies of the originals. Your personality is what shines in your music.
