I started playing Piano today for my first time, and decided to go for this song. I know I should go for something easier, but it motivates me insanly when I absolutely love the music. And this is one of my favorites. I almost got the first 15 seconds down, any tips there I'm having trouble stretching my left hand to cover all the notes, I can do it but sometimes mess up, also I get tired in my fingers after a while ;P Thanks for this video =)

Are you using a pedal? I don't have a pedal on mine and I can only do the first part without one but looking at the range of the notes on the other parts it looks like you might need it. Just need to know so I can get one asap. On another note excellent job.

The only tip I can really say is, practice the left hand chorus using only your left hand. Practice at a slow pace so you can learn it. If you start to get it, speed it up. If you can, read the sheed music.

I found sheet music on a site. It's from Arnold Morrison. Though, I also listened to the original game sound track a lot. His version helped at the time when I was learning.

It's a Yamaha P60. It's currently discontinued and no longer manufactured. So the P85 is the next choice.

I also used a Yamaha Motif Rack ES for the actual piano sound.

It depends on how much of a challenge you want. There are several chords and arpeggios in this piece, so once you get them down, it becomes pretty easy. I say go for it. =)
