what I love about all your videos retrosound is that every one (almost all!) features the sci pro one as trigger/sequencer. Now being the lucky owner of a great pro one myself, I can see why!
just trigger your polysix to a drum machine (arpeggio trigger in). if you have an old roland drum machine, send from "rim trig out" and your appegiator will sync to pulses in the rimshot of your drum machine. if you don't want to hear the rim shot in drum programming, just send its volume to zero.
i just downloaded U-NO-60 which is a vsti based on this synth...but obviously the real thing is so much better..your sounds are ace and its a cool tune..
Trigger Out from the 606 into the Arpeggio Clk in of the Juno. But you can do with any drummachine which can send a Audio Signal (Electribe, MPC, PC etc.)
Beautiful, wonderful, Demo. well done. Love the sound, just so sweet. I have the Juno 106, but, prefaire this. Really great song. Maybe if I got rid of my Fridge, I'd have room for just one more synth. The 60;. But their getting expensive. LOL .
this is a really cool demonstration! thank you so much for posting this
i have a juno 60 and a tr 606, i didn't know you could link the arp in on the 60 to the trigger outs on the 606...i just bought a new 606 (modified one on ebay) so i can use the old non modified one strictly to handle the arp clock output, this is so awesome thank you!!
Great video. I have a Juno 6. And i was wondering, what would be the best way to trigger the Arpeggio. I dont have a drummachine. Could i link it to my PC or my Microkorg or something.
Yould have to get like a CV-Midi converter (which have shoddy capability as is) and THEN a Midi/USB interface for your computer... then you could try to trigger that shit with ableton or something, but using computers with pre-midi stuff can be quite difficult.
what is the chain of inputs/outputs that you're using to sequence the juno's arpeggiator? i have one but that darn slider is so hard to find the right tempo for some tracks of mine... i haven't messed with it as much as i'd like to.
Bass has no bottom end power compared to a DX7 MK 2.

How do you sequence or match up the arp with the drum machine? Is there a way you could plug in some sort of tap tempo unit ?

the Pro-One sequencer is easy to use and great for sequencing other synths.

In my opinion, the 106 was not nearly the synth that the Juno 6 or 60 were.

This is great! Well Done!
Im only 14 and I am getting into synths alot!
My first synth was the Juno 106, and I was so sad when one of the voices died. :(
Im hopefully getting an SH 101 soon, and then maybe a Juno 60 for christmas if my folks can afford it!
Love all the 80s sounds!
Keep up the awesome videos :)
